We had read good reviews so travelled to find out if they were warranted. Yes! Good all round: food, drink and service in nice surroundings.

A lovely cafe to just drop into for lunch and drinks. My food intolerances were efficiently accomodated with advice on alternatives. We had a full English and a jacket potato for our two lunches. The full English included fried bread (now a rarity) as well as all the normal bits and pieces (the fried eggs were just right, firm but with runny yolks). The jacket potato was big, was good to eat throughout, the topping was generous and the salad nice. Two accompanying coffees were tasty and hot. All organised by Ruby who took the orders and served them in an efficient manner. (Thank you Ruby!) We plan to return.

Really handy on the high street.
It was my second visit for the breakfast.
Good food, good service, reasonable price and wait times.
Good selection of cakes on display behind a glass counter.

Plenty of seating, or can take out.

Clean toilet facilities with baby changing. Was just a little untidy on my visit.

First visit to Jules cafe. The Food was okay but the service was terrible. We ended up clearing a table to be able to sit down as the waitress said she would come over and take our order. When our order was served the breakfast my brother order didn't have the additional item he had asked for several times, the waitress then brought the item four times for the whole table. When questioned the waitress then denied hearing this also. My brother agreed and struggled to eat all four portions as he didn't want to see food go to waste. The waitress didn't notice apologise and was very rude, we will not be using this establishment again and I would avoid plenty of other cafe options!!! 😔

Very underwhelming. Ordered a jacket potato with tuna and cheese to go for £6.25. When I got home realised there was no cheese on it. Tuna was cheap and dry and just didn't taste particularly nice. Shame as they used to do nice jacket potatoes but seems to have down hill over the past few years.

Just had breakfast at this superb little cafe. It was the best breakfast I've had in a cafe in a long time.

Didn't even get to try food!!
Visited the first time today after hearing amazing things off of family.
Got there just after 8am, and chose to sit outside, my husband went inside to get a food menu and smiled at the staff.
We then chose what we wanted and I went in the order. A Male member of staff walked by me several times and looked at the menu but didn't say a word
I waited more than 5 mins while the lady serving make two hot drinks, at snail pace!! Then when a queue had built up behind me she told me she couldn't take any food orders until half 8, another 20mins!! This was so embarrassing in front of so many people, especially as she watched my husband take a food menu!!
I've then spoken to my family who go often, who then told me they've never had to wait until half 8 to have their food orders taken!!
Maybe my face just didn't fit? Who knows!!
What I do know however is I will Never be back!!
I work in hospitality myself, and never would I ever treat my customers as i was treated today.
Staff being pig ignorant springs to mind, more training definitely needed.

Lovely local cafe. Friendly family atmosphere. The lady here sings to all the songs. Customers know each other’s names. It’s paradise.
