When I stayed there. (2000-2001) And I believe it was all west Lothian homeless people. 99% of people were sound. No one bothered me. Generally. Most staff are friendly but as usual you get the odd 1 who thinks they are above all others. Looked like a real rubbish job to be fair. I was lucky and had the room above the bar. First two nights were unbearable but then COVID lockdown happened. Silence. Plus top WiFi (in bar underneath) all staff were generally courteous and polite. Greggs occasionally filled out boots with pies/cakes etc. was actually pretty good. Maids every day etc. not sure the state now but this place used to be a MAJOR function place for weddings etc. hopefully it managed to attain some of its formal glory. Good luck anyway guys and thanks for having me for a year. 🙂

Visited the Coach Inn Bar to have a few relaxing pints and a few games of pool.
Very welcoming, staff were very friendly and the beer was nice and cold.
There's a pool table, jukebox, bandit and quiz machine plus they also show live sports.
This bar is part of the main hotel which also has a restaurant which is open to the public. Not eaten here for a number of years but not heard any negative feedback about the dining experience

I was booked into this hotel for one reason it was a lot cheaper than any other hotel in the area. You get what you pay for. The hotel is nice in reception and the breakfast is excellent (included in the price). The rooms are where the hotel falls down - they are old and shabby. The shower and bathroom also needs refurbishing as very difficult to use. The bed is comfortable and we did get a good nights sleep despite being over the bar (on what sounded like a gig night or karaoke). Avoid room 7 if said gig/karaoke night. The personnel were excellent and very helpful.

At £80 for a double bed room, this is seriously overpriced. Hotel is old and shabby. Toilet didn’t flush properly, windows didn’t lock properly, and there’s no wifi. Aside from breakfast, there is no food or drinks on site (apparently that stopped 18 months ago). There are signs up pointing to a beer garden and a bar...Place seems to be in the last slide towards being sold off for apartments. This place might have been good 30+ years ago. Avoid.

I visited this hotel and was pleasantly greeted on arrival, the room was of good standard but i was surprised by the lack of a restaurant for my evening meal. The breakfast was a OK but a bit limited as i do not have cooked breakfast, which looked good. I walked into Bathgate for my evening meal, I ate at the Heritage Indian restaurant, well worth the long walk, I might consider driving if I stay there again. I would consider staying here again when next in the area as good value.

I stayed at the Kaim Park Hotel for 8 months. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Some of the other 'guests' were very strange to say the least. The manageress was very helpful and I want to say how grateful I am for her help and support while I was there. Thanks N X

I had the misfortune of spending two abysmal weeks at this 'hotel'.||||Upon arrival I was greeted by a sign telling me to look in the bar if nobody was at reception.... great start. Eventually I find a woman pulling pints for the drunk locals. She ushered me back to reception and promptly sent me to my room with my key - the keyring was snapped/bitten in half. Straight away I was expecting the worst....||||Upon entering my extremely small room I was slapped in the face by a warm/damp stench. Upon further inspection, it was obvious the room had not seen fresh air in a long time. This was reinforced by several moths hiding behind the curtains/peeling wallpaper.||||Commodities such as a hairdryer and a 18'' colour tv were provided free of charge - it even had a remote!||||The rest of the room was extremely dated - the furniture/fittings would look perfectly at home on the antiques roadshow! The place was thick with dust.||||The bathroom was a disgrace - the showers were mouldy and when you switched the shower on, warm/pungent air from the sewers filled the room. Be sure to pack a couple of pegs if you decide to stay here.||||When I tried to get some sleep, I noticed the bed linen had holes in it. On several occasions there was loud lager louts shouting/partying until 1am. If you are planning on working the next day - good luck!||||As I lay awake on my first night I gazed to the ceiling above.... and noticed a sock over the smoke detector. I assume the previous occupier needed some 'wacky backy' to get some sleep.... ||||Not to worry, the free breakfast will refuel your batteries ready for the day ahead.... think again! Avoid - but if you do attempt to find something edible, be prepared to be treated as an inconvenience at all possible times.||||Overall the place was a complete shambles in every aspect possible. I've stayed in many hotels and I have never seen such disregard shown towards their guests.||||Avoid.
