This hotel is the best ever, we had our wedding here June 2025 and it was just perfect. The staff are amazing nothing was a problem. Food out of this world. If anyone wants to her married in Scotland come here!!!! Can't wait to come again this year absolutely love it here.||Love Laura & Steven

My lady and I stopped in for dinner in early May of 2025, after a long day of travel from the US. It was a beautiful sunny day and the view of the lake was very relaxing after being on the go for so long.

We scoped out the menu in advance and were extremely happy that we chose to pop in. To start we had the Cullen Skink, and for mains I ordered the salmon and my lady had the sea bass, and we got a side of chips to share.

The Cullen Skink was my first true Scottish version with haddock, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cheddar crumble on top was a nice touch.

I love salmon, and pan-seared crispy skin is probably my favorite preparation. I've eaten a lot of it in my lifetime, and hands down this was the best I've ever had it. The cook on it was absolute perfection and consistent from one end to the next. And the skin was the perfect level of crisp without any burned bits. The lemon caper butter sauce was absolutely superb as well.

After a long day of travel, an apple cider really hit the spot with the meal and was my first introduction to Thistly Cross Cider. The whisky cask variety is really excellent and ultimately what I think is my all-time favorite cider. The whisky cask just adds that little touch of depth to the cider that really rounds out the flavor.

All in all, this was a great start to our trip in terms of food and serenity. And, we popped back in later for another cider and to enjoy another clear evening by the water. If we're in the area on our next Scotland trip, we will certainly stop back in.

We stopped for dinner in route to out self catering cabin along the road. the food was absolutely brilliant. we both had the cheese burger and it was one of the best we've ever had. Almost too good to just call a burger. Really tasty skin on rosemary fries. staff were delightful and the views are stunning. 10/10 Forgot to take photos of the food as it was so good we demolished it

Karma Lake Menteith, Scotland resort is located 13 kms from Stirling, Reaching the resort is a bit difficult, as the public bus transport has fixed timings. You need a car to travel, if you want to see a lot of places. If you plan as per bus timings you still can see places such as Perth, Dundee, Glasgow, Stirling Castle view, Edinburgh and nearby places, since from Stirling it's well connected by road and rail network. The resort is okay, not much of indoor activities. Food is good but expensive. Beautiful sight seeing around the resort. Staff is very good. We liked the Wines tasting activity.

I was with a tour group focused on weaving the the program Outlander. The guest rooms were nothing special, but the view from the dining room was spectacular and the food was beyond spectacular. We were there overnight and also on our way back at the end of our trip we stopped again. I would go there just to relax and eat! I was there about eight years ago, not June 2024, but there was no place to indicate that information. The cemetery nearby is interesting also. I didn't go out to the island where Mary Queen of Scots lived, but I would do that next time!

Room not clean needs up dated left 2 days before our time mattress bad out side need cleaned seen chef. Smoking out side next to gas tank manager said oh nothing happened then Is that what he thinks about his guest would not recommend it .we understand the hotel is work in progress but a going over with pressure washer at gutters and facial would help appearance alot.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. We were made so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautiful and had a stunning view over the lake. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast here and couldn’t fault it at all. We had a few drinks in the bar and both Erin and Tia looked after us so well.
Such a beautiful place for a relaxing night away. We will definitely be back.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Osprey suite was lovely - amazing views and very spacious room. We ate in the restaurant twice; the service and food were excellent. In fact we had nothing at all to complain about! Even had a small dog who was made very welcome. Recommend a trip to Trossachs Pier.
