We were greeted at reception by very friendly staff, who gave us all the information about how to find our room and details about breakfast the following morning. we went down for breakfast around 9 o'clock when breakfast time was between 8 & 10 o'clock only to find some thing's not available and only one member of staff trying to organise the Buffet breakfast bar. Otherwise our stay was good the room being very clean and comfortable. we would stay there again if we are in the area.

As group of friends coming to watch the racing at Donington we chose to stay here. It was very good value and the room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a really good night's sleep. We booked to eat our evening meal in the hotel, the menus themselves looked like something you'd find in a cheap cafe, which made me feel like the meals would be very basic, but we were all very pleasantly surprised, as the food was delicious. |The breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty to choose from. |The staff were lovely and friendly and made us very welcome, they worked very hard. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area. |

I travel for work so know most mid range hotels in key locations. On occassion due to good pricing I get to stay in some absolutely stunning places. This hotel is awful. The staff are nice enough but nothing works or its filth dirty. There was a purveying smell of cigarettes in the corridor. My first room the shower didn’t work nor 50% of the lighting. After getting dressed to go back to reception. I got another room with similar problems. The decor is tired and you can see repairs everywhere, rusty sink chains, exposed wiring, dirty kettles. The list is endless. If you have a choice, look elsewhere.

Very friendly welcome and staff all very helpful and efficient. Large carpark, large room. All very clean, outside approach to reception could do with a brush up(fag ends)|Breakfast and dinner are very good, steak especially. No long wait, no dramas. They even arranged earlier breakfast time as several of us going to Donington Park racing and wanted early start. Thanks! Walking distance to CoOp so we could stock up for picnic next day. Would stay again.

Stayed in this hotel while down at alton towers. The hotel is disgusting!! The room is an eye sore. Tiles hanging off walls in the bathroom. Rusty and dirty bath and sink! Dirty, dusty walls everywhere. Just looked very unkempt.

The food was abysmal! As part of the package it included, dinner & breakfast, it was set options. Being ONE option only.
The dinner was frozen Veg, frozen sliced beef from Iceland & roast potatoes. When served, this food wasn't however just cold...it was honestly till frozen! Made the chef aware. Who didnt seem to care. Noticed most of the guests leaving their meals and heading out. Lucky there was a fine little chippy down the road for everyone!
Breakfast was a little better..wasn't great tho.
Would advise anyone to avoid this hotel.

Spent the weekend here; a very warm welcome. My partner and I will be back next year. The only issue was one lamp didn't work, and a refrigerator would have been helpful as I had to leave some medication at home. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Aleays a friendly face behind Reception. A great stop before a 6am flight! A great choice of food, lots of veggie/vegan dishes in the restaurant. Rooms basic, but very neat, clean and good value. Well Done to the whole team...can't recommend a stay too highly!
