We stayed here for a long weekend in our touring caravan.

The pitch was well kept, spacious and offered plenty of privacy.

The ablutions were kept impeccably clean, with large shower and toilet cubicles.

The on-site shop was well stocked and full of local produce all at reasonable prices.

Our children thoroughly enjoyed cycling around the many trails on site and using the playgrounds.

We will definitely be coming back.

This is my favourite campsite so far. Large private pitches if you choose right, spotless showers and red facilities are the best I've ever seen and that includes comparing them against love to stay! Village lovely, pool was beautiful in the sunshine and not too crowded. All in all the best touring site yet. ||If I had to pick something id probably not put young couples with families as you know who is on what pitch - because it wasn't quiet at 10pm as it should be but we did ask them to lower the noise a little and they did without any issues.

I felt compelled to write a review after reading one entitled “fantastic location, horrible, horrible campsite”, which, in my opinion, is a completely unfair and inaccurate representation of Kelling Heath.||We’ve camped at Kelling Heath annually for several years now, always as a group of families from our village, and it’s become a firm favourite. Kelling Heath isn’t just a campsite – it’s a full holiday village, set in hundreds of acres of beautiful Norfolk woodland. It’s spacious, well-maintained, and designed with families in mind.||We’ve stayed in both the Blue Butterfly and Yellow Dragonfly zones. After experiencing some heavy rain one year, we chose to move to a flatter pitch in Yellow Dragonfly – and it’s been perfect ever since. The pitches are genuinely large; we’ve never once felt crowded or overlooked. Even during the school holidays, when the site is at its busiest, it still feels open and relaxed thanks to its sheer size and thoughtful layout.||The shower blocks vary by zone, but you’re free to use any of them. They’ve always been clean and functional when we’ve visited.||One of the real highlights for us has been the fantastic range of nature trails and walking routes. You can pick up a guidebook at reception (just be aware the mileage can be a bit underestimated!). The walks themselves are excellent and offer a real sense of being immersed in nature.||It’s also important to know that this is a holiday village-style site – there are families from all over, with different routines and ways of enjoying their time away. That’s part of the beauty of it. If you’re camping here, you need to be prepared to hear the sounds of children playing, people chatting, and life happening around you. It’s a shared space, and everyone’s entitled to enjoy it in their own way. If you’re looking for total solitude and silence, this might not be the place – and an off-the-grid site might suit you better.||For families, especially with children or teens, the site is brilliant. The open spaces, woodlands, and playgrounds offer endless opportunities for exploring. Our teenagers have loved having the freedom to cycle all over the site and discover every corner of it – safely and independently.||All in all, Kelling Heath continues to be a place we look forward to returning to each year. It offers the perfect balance of nature, space, and community, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly camping experience in a beautiful setting.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in a Nightjar caravan. The van was the same one we stayed in 2 years ago, The van is quite luxury with everything you need with a lovely welcome [ack, furnished decking and sits under the trees with squirrels and deer visiting. The site is large with lodges and touring sites. There is a shop, restaurant, coffee shop, takeaway which surrounds the square where there is entertainment at the weekend. |We visited the coffee shop on arrival, ordered 2 drinks which took 10minutes to make and on delivery to our table most of the coffee ended up in the saucer, also the coffee was awful. we had take away fish and ships whilst watching the entertainment, the fish was just ok, the thick chips were not tour liking.|Overall we had a lovely holiday with good weather

Outstanding, the cleanliness of the toilet/shower facilities will make us return alone. A really beautiful place with lots to explore from kid friendly trails to various parks. We loved it here and will definitely return the only small negatives for us was the swimming as it is at an extra cost and with two children it added a big expense to our holiday and secondly the restaurant was incredibly slow at serving, with young children this wasn’t ideal for us. Otherwise this would have been easily 5 out of 5.

A beautiful and peaceful holiday park set in stunning woodland and heathland. Kelling Heath is perfect for anyone who loves nature, with lovely walking and cycling trails, wildlife everywhere, and breathtaking views of the North Norfolk coast. The park is incredibly well maintained, with clean facilities, a great play area for children, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We loved how spacious the pitches were and how everything felt close to nature but still had all the comforts you need. A perfect escape – we can’t wait to come back!

First time here, huge place surrounded by beautiful forests. Some pitches quite close to each other, they had to change our booked pitch as the RV to big, lovely wardens really couldn’t do enough for us. The place was very busy but areas clean and tidy. Decided to have takeout fish and chips on the Saturday, they took orders by name. 30 minutes waiting time, went back for mine in 20 minutes, few orders went out, the order for Lydia shouted and then Katie no one approached. Over 10 minutes later still no one, asked what my name was and advised Linda by this time 15 minutes passed, told me sorry this is yours, advised it was still hot been on top of hot plate. I got to exit door and could tell almost cold, took back and manager apologised and agreed to do fresh one without the 40 minute wait. 5 minutes later my meal brought back, basically just been popped back into the fryer which was easy to see from difference in batter colour. Edible but disappointing.they need number system not names. Went for Sunday roast following day, both had beef, only criticism, should have had more beef just 2 average slices and temperature and texture of some veg was cooler than the rest of food on the plate and a tad overcooked. Meal overall very nice and restaurant nice and clean and staff attentive. We would use again.

Came here a few times as a kid years ago. But now back as an adult with children what an amazing place to stay and spend time outdoors exploring. From walking trails to riding them on bikes, feeding sheep or listening to the steam train run along the tracks nearby, it was a fantastic couple of days away and such a peaceful environment to be in. The staff are very friendly and even the other people staying on site are polite and chatty too. Will definitely be back for longer in the future. Was lovely to see the kids off technology and exploring nature!!
