Great breakfast. The bacon, beans, fried slice, all of it was all amazing. Came with free tea or coffee which was also excellent. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Atmosphere was cute, fully air conditioned! Has outdoor and indoor seating. No long lines and better food than the more touristy areas.

Always busy which is a great sign, the host Halil is helpful, fun and always greats his guests with a smile. For such a busy venue, he takes time for all his customers which makes such a huge difference in this day and age.

I recently visited Kennington Lane Cafe and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Full English Breakfast, which was very satisfying with perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and tasty sausages. The portions were fair and the price very reasonable, making it great value for money. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, enhanced by the friendly staff. In particular, Fatma stood out—she was warm, patient, and made us feel right at home. She took our orders, gave excellent recommendations, and ensured we were comfortable throughout our visit. Overall, Kennington Lane Cafe offers delicious food, great service, and a homely vibe that I highly recommend for a hearty breakfast in London.

Warm welcome by the staff. Halil was very accommodating to our preferences and was very clear about which dishes were halal. Wide variety of menu. He recommended the day's special, fish and chips. The food was decent and served quickly. Suitable for a quick bite.

Great diner-like place to get a full English breakfast. Get the Kennington breakfast for the full deal. Delicious and very filling! Halil was very kind and informed us how to eat the meal. Also congratulated my daughter on ordering the Toad in the Hole. That's basically sausage in Yorkshire pudding. Also very good! Great prices and breakfast served all day. Check it out!

For Americans - the "bacon" is essentially country ham. Not American bacon. It's delicious.

We had an English breakfast in here. The location is easy to reach, and although the place has a laid-back vibe that made us hesitate at first, the staff were very friendly. The eggs, sausage, and bacon were all tasty, and portions were generous. The fried bread was a bit heavy for us, but the toasted buttered bread on the side was great. They also offered us a vegetable hash brown-style dish called “bubble,” which was a nice touch. The only downside was the instant coffee—we weren’t informed, and a fresh brew would’ve really elevated the meal.
