For a health club/spa connected to a hotel, the pool and gym are excellent. Good size pool and a small gym with a wide variety of equipment. I stayed 3 nights, did 4 workouts, and was able to exercise every body part I wanted. The steam room was small, but clean and a good temperature (if you like really, really hot steam).

I was very disappointed by the male changing rooms and sauna. The male and female changing rooms each have their own sauna, but the male sauna was closed. It looked like it had been closed for some time, and they don't appear to be taking steps to fix it. I don't know if the changing room relies on the sauna to keep it warm, but for all three days it was very cold and smelled strongly of damp. For a spa of this "quality", it is unacceptable not to provide even body wash in the showers for your clients to clean themselves. If I choose to stay at the hotel again, I'll have to bring an empty bottle to use the body wash in the room's fixed container in the "spa".

I saw a poster advertising the price of monthly membership - £90 per month!!! I don't know what the average cost is in London, but that's almost 3x the price I pay in a better gym (and my gym provides body wash). And I would never think of coming here for a spa day/break, not in the state the changing rooms are.

(As a side point, the last time I stayed in the hotel the changing rooms were swapped. There wasn't any body wash/shampoo, but the changing rooms didn't smell and the sauna was working. If that had been the situation in the actual male changing rooms that I used this week, I would not have felt the need to add the previous 2 paragraphs and would have given the spa 5 stars.)

This SPA needs a make over!
Firstly as we walked in my friend and I got told to go straight in to the massage toom and then get changed in the room. I would have expected to be taken to the changing room for some privacy as I didn't really want to get changed Infront of anyone. We had to leave our stuff on a chair which resulted me in leaving my underwear there the whole day as it fell behind a chair.
After the massage we went to have our cream tea where the staff was slow, chatting away. We got out scones which were different sizes and looked shop brought. When asked for a plate we got one and we also received one pot of tea. no mention of what tea, no milk choices or nothing!
After the cream tea we made our way to the changing rooms. The state of the rooms where awful, broken doors, lockers where hanging off, dirty floor, Mould everywhere. One of the rooms which was wide open was filled with mould and old wooden beds which did not look appealing at all.
Once we went to the pool area the hot tub was green which looked like it had not been cleaned in forever, hair floating around and just general stains. The steam room was fine but again like everything else was very out dated and didn't smell nice at all. Would have been nice for some incense drops to be put in.
Lastly we came for a peaceful day which I have just seen that on the the website if you want a tranquil day to avoid certain times. The time we where there didn't have the aerobics class as mentioned but there was a kids class and also a lot of drilling the whole time. I was not made aware of this when booking over the phone. it does not even state this when booking online just after when you book! On top of the we would have to hire bath robes! they should have given this for free considering the horrible spa!
The only thing I can say which was pleasant was the man at the reception, Very welcoming and kind and clearly doing his best to distract people from the spa area.

The spa facilities are very basic very small sauna and steam room jacuzzi out of service (wasn't made aware of this at booking and I booked today!)also wasn't told I needed a lock for locker so I asked about hiring one which they only would take cash for I had card so had to leave my bag unattended I didn't have any spa treatments so can't talk on that but the spa facilities are shocking avoid your local swimming baths will be better!

Me and my partner have visited holiday inns health club and spa and honestly we had a delightful time here.
No issues whatsoever!
The pool and jacuzzi were warm and big in size.sauna and steam was also refreshing.
But what made our experience a 10 was the attentive staff and their helpful service.
They went out of their way to give us the best experience possible.
We would like to give a big thanks to Zack, the spa manager, and Louisa.
Many thanks
Simran

Interesting experience. We enjoyed our facials & massages, although the treatment room was quite cold, our feet were frozen after an hour! 90% of the lockers in the ladies change room are broken. We didn't receive any refreshments, a glass of prosecco should have been included in our package.

This spa has so much potential... such a pity we didn't have an amazing experience.

Lovely spa and Wellness area. Manager is super nice. Pool is clean and great to swim. Women sauna only for women and this is great. Lots of lockers, showers and towels. Front office to register for pool and gym or massages. The spa is als usable for HolidayInn guests and they do not charge for hotel guest using it. The opening ours in the early morning are the best. Love it. Steam bath and whirlpool are also on already and usable 🥰🥰 the interior is a little charming and still unique but they take care very well of it. I love the swim suit dryer best thing if seen.

No pictures from the pool and gym cause people where there.

Upon arrival, I noticed that there was maintenance work being done in the facility, which unfortunately detracted from the usually serene environment. Additionally, some areas appeared to be less clean than expected, which further diminished the experience.
The videos I watched prior to visiting the spa didn't match the reality of the place. It was much smaller, don’t come here, find a better spa!!

Oh gosh, I would say this place is a spa that needs a complete refresh with more realistic photos on the website so that people can have a true impression of the pool area and changing room.

The pool is a good size but the heating was turned off when a kids club swim started around 3.30pm. We were not notified the club would be on which really interrupted the spa experience. The hot tub was tiny and tired, and the steam room floor was very dirty. The sauna was hot but very small and the changing room was extremity dingy. We went there for a birthday treat and was so upset after visiting.
