We had a lovely experience at The Lodge last weekend which was booked for a birthday celebration. The lodge was both spacious and cosy and provided the perfect base for us to relax and enjoy some family time. The lodge was well equipped and the beds were really comfy.

Spent the full weekend at the Lodge with 5 adults, 1 pre teen and 2 dogs. More than enough space and rooms to be comfortable! Bedrooms are huge, upstairs bathroom is very big too. Shower room on ground floor is very modern with a great corner shower. Kitchen is huge with all mod cons, dining room fits 8 comfortablly.

Great location for visiting nearby cities, would recommend Kelso, beautiful place.

Lots of room for dogs to go for good walks and lots of new smells.

The owner let us see the farm animals and was very accommodating and at hand if required, other than you wouldn't think they were there, lots of privacy. The farm itself is immaculate and very well organised.

Look out for Rocco the cat, will chance it trying to get in the house ha ha The dogs though are awesome, wish I'd seen more of them! Ha ha

I would happily go back and recommend it thoroughly.

We absolutely love this place. Stayed in The Bothy twice now. So tranquil. Beautiful surroundings set on a farm. All you can hear is the birds & the odd horse noises. The addition of the hot tub has made this place perfect. Lovely sitting out in the private garden on the sun loungers. Had a bbq one evening. The couple who own the property live next door & couldn't be more helpful & friendly. Kelso itself is less than 3 miles away. Lovely wee town with some nice restaurants & cafes. Can't wait to return.

Had a great time staying at the Bothy. Great base for exploring the borders and Northumberland. Clear the amount of effort put in by the owners to create a cosy and practical accommodation for couples! Library/lounge is beautiful, but every room is brilliant and airy. Simon was super helpful and friendly on the couple of times we saw him! Thank you!
