We really dropped on when we recently stopped here for 5 nights for our 40th wedding anniversary. The hosts Nicola & Graham went out of their way to make us feel welcome as they did with the other guests that were stopping there at the time. We stopped in the converted milking shed that they had renovated over the years to a very high standard, very clean and tidy with crisp bedding and fluffy towels. Breakfast is served in the main farmhouse with a variety of options to choose from, hot and cold or something of your choice. I had the full breakfast every morning with different starters and everything was fresh and locally sourced and the sausage and bacon was from their own pigs and fresh eggs from their own hens, absolutely gorgeous. The view from the front room was superb and the decor was from Grahams collection from when he worked abroad. They were both very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them, a most enjoyable stay. The roads leading to it are very narrow and you just have to pull in when traffic is approaching but it is give & take and adds to the adventure. Would definitely stay again and was very sad to leave and they have a lovely black labrador called Ben which is ever so friendly and fussy and likes to show you his collection of toys. We have just spent a totally fabulous week at this outstanding B&B. As soon as we got out of the car we realised that we had arrived at a unique and very special place. Kerswell Farmhouse is situated amid the most beautiful Devon countryside with breath-taking views and fabulous sunsets. Nichola and Graham could not have been more friendly and welcoming - not just on arrival, but throughout our entire stay. They gave us invaluable advice and guidance on places to visit and also where to eat etc. Their adorable black labrador 'Bear' must have a mention for his part in contributing to our very enjoyable stay! The accommodation is beyond exceptional. Absolutely everything has been thought of to help guests feel so comfortable and relaxed, and all the furniture, pictures etc, were without doubt a cut above anything we could have expected. Choices for breakfast each day were a real challenge, because they were all so tempting and again so much nicer than you would get in other B&B's and hotels. I only just had enough days to try them all, and they were all completely delicious! We felt so lucky to have found Kerswell Farmhouse, and cannot recommend it highly enough as a very special place to stay. Loved it here. Room was really comfortable and the breakfast prepared by Nicola was great. Such lovely hosts, it was nice chatting to them over breakfast. Bear the dog will take you on a guided tour of the property! Loved it!!

We have been twice now, this is one of the most idilic locations we have stayed at (and we travel a lot) The Bonberry room is our favourite as it has the most amazing views and a great outside patio and seating area where you can just relax and take in all the views and wildlife going on around you. Nicola & Graham are amazing hosts (and Bear the Labrador) , Breakfast in the morning made up from their own pork sausages and bacon from the pigs they raise, to the lovely eggs from their chickens. Make sure to look at their recommendations for restaurants and book in advance to make sure you can get in, so far Andria (amazing food and service) and the Cotts have been or favourites. We will be going back soon

Staying in shepherds hut-fabulous.Nichola & Graham very nice & helpful also Bear the dog a good companion when walking around & seeing the chickens & pigs.From what I saw of the B&B that looked fabulous too.I want to visit again.🙂🙂.
