We had our wedding at Kilmore Country House in June 2025 and right from the very first visit, we were so well looked after. From our initial discussion with Tina, who talked us through all the details and gave us lots of useful advice, answered all our questions and turned the initial quote around promptly, we knew we would be in good hands. Oliver then took over looking after us as the wedding manager and he was so helpful throughout. He knew the answer to every question we asked, he helped us to make good choices for our food and drinks and continued to give us helpful advice all through the planning and preparation. On the day of the wedding, Oliver was in calm control throughout the day, we and our guests were so well looked after and I never felt that anything was too much. It rained all day and right through our drinks reception and dinner, Hugh kindly carried umbrellas over many guests between the house and the marquee and Oliver and the team set up the outdoor games on the dance floor in the marquee which the kids enjoyed especially! Hugh was also excellent from our first visit right through to the morning after, always a smile, remembering our guests by name and treating everyone with kindness, he made everyone feel really looked after, old and young. Thank you also to Martin and the rest of the front of house team as well as the excellent chef and kitchen staff, we were extremely well fed and it was all delicious. Thanks also to the night manager who sorted the marquee out for us so all of our things were easy to sort out and collect in the morning. Most of the rest of this review is about the amazing team but I should also include the absolutely beautiful venue. The house and marquee have been beautifully decorated throughout, the ceremony and reception spaces are tasteful and versatile for lots of different styles and we love how they looked for our wedding. The grounds and views are what initially attracted us to Kilmore and the gardens are really well designed and cared for, the views speak for themselves! 100% recommend getting married at Kilmore Country House, it was 5* from start to finish and we can't wait to go back and visit.

I attended a wedding here this weekend and was absolutely blown away by the service at the venue.

The young waiting staff were unbelievably professional and Oliver the wedding coordinator was one step ahead on everything in terms of organisation.

A special mention to Hugh for his impeccable hospitality. From the moment we met him he had us feeling comfortable and relaxed, I found his very presence and pleasantries to be an important part of what made the day so fun. Thanks Hugh, you're a credit to the venue.

Having attended many weddings, I can honestly say I would highly recommend this place. The food was brilliant and the location is second to none.

We had our wedding at Kilmore a few weeks ago and it couldn't have been more magical.

Venue speaks for itself the views are absolutely beautiful and the rooms within the main house are beautifully decorated throughout.

The staff were amazing from start to finish and I want to give a massive shout out to Oliver and Hugh for everything they did to make sure the day ran smoothly. Olivers assistance throughout the entire wedding lead up was incredible and helped to take a lot off of my shoulders. Hugh was fabulous and what a gentleman! Bar staff and waiting staff were also amazing and the signature cocktails were a big hit!!

Food was beautiful and guests had come to me to say it was the nicest food they had ever tasted at a wedding!

Cannot thank all of the staff enough for what they did for us on our wedding day just wish that we were doing it all over again!!

We recently had our wedding reception here. From beginning, Oliver and the staff were more than helpful providing lists of recommended vendors, helping us through every step and allowing us to come the day before to get set up and allowing us to customise almost everything about the night even down to having his and her cocktails. The food was amazing with massive portions, with every guest complimenting it. The views and outdoor space are what sold it. Would highly recommend to anyone getting married!

Attended my daughter's wedding here. A wonderful choice of venue, the property and location are stunning, but what made the event so special was the way in which we were hosted by the staff. Their attention to detail is phenomenal, and they were very welcoming and patient throughout, while making sure the special day ran smoothly. Food and accommodation were also excellent.

Kilmore provided an unbelievable service as the venue for our wedding! The staff were so attentive, friendly and helpful and the co-ordination of our wedding was second to none!

Would recommend it alone for the location but the staff were what made it special.

We were married at Kilmore Country House in November 2024 and we couldn't recommend them more. The staff were all exceptional, going above and beyond for us all on the lead up to our big day and throughout the celebration. Oliver, the wedding manager could not have done more for us and was on hand to take on any suggestions, iron out any kinks and made us feel at all times that our wedding was in safe hands.
The grounds are absolutely stunning and you will struggle to find anywhere with a better backdrop for your special day.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Kilmore to anyone in need of an all-encompassing celebration venue.

We spent a very enjoyable evening on Saturday past at Kilmore to sample their 5 course game inspired menu. ||Although dark, the setting is magnificent and the main dining room impressive. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and most importantly keen to receive feedback on the various courses. ||The food itself was excellent. Each course a delight and well balanced. A few very minor issues that were highlighted to staff and can be easily remedied did not at all take away from a very impressive meal. ||Excellent value for £45 and a well worth it drinks pairing for £20.
