My family enjoyed this friendly and beautiful place. The owner is a very lovely lady who creates a wonderful place. The breakfasts are delicious too. If you're looking for a good place to stay in Staunton, look no further than Kilmorie. We will come back there.

We have just spent two nights here as part of a little family break - child, parents and grandparents. The rooms are all pretty much on the level (just the odd little step) so great for access issues. Sheila, who runs the B&B is very friendly and sweet. She loves telling you about her animals – two very old horses and about a dozen chickens that produce the breakfast eggs. If you are travelling with a child/ren they can help fed the horses, put them to bed, have a little brush etc and also get the chickens put away for the night. This just absolutely made the holiday for our little girl. The accommodation is very standard, don’t expect modern, multiple choice options for everything, and if you need decaf coffee or things like that then check supplies, but it’s good value for money and a good base. There is a lounge you can use – with telly, dvd player etc. Sheila does the rounds in the evening so you can get topped up with fresh milk for your tea tray and you can pop the odd thing in the kitchen fridge to keep it fresh, refreeze your cool bag ice blocks etc. The bed in our room was very comfortable and everything was kept very clean. Water pressure is low so don’t expect a power shower in the morning. Breakfast was very tasty.

The owner is lovely, warm and welcoming. The facilities are all on one floor, with an odd step here or there, but with good grab holds available. Not good if you can't do any steps, but I was fine in my walker! Very clean, well done rooms. I had an en suite room, which was perfect for me with no steps to the bathroom, and an accommodating shower. Each room had a tea tray set out ready, and there are plenty of places to sit outside if the weather permits and have your tea while you enjoy the many birds and flowers. Not a posh/elegant place, but clean, warm, welcoming and very comfortable. A perfect country stay.||||There are also chickens, who provide the eggs for the delicious home-cooked breakfast. Plenty of choice for breakfast, cooked to order.||||There are also two elderly ponies - one 28 and one 40! Not very friendly for petting, but fun to go visit.||||There is a creek/river along the property also.||||It is a Chartist house from the 1800's, so a very interesting history.||||Plenty of parking.||||We had a lovely stay, and would happily stay again. I definitely recommend this!

Lovely stay! The proprietress is warm and friendly and very helpful. Loved everything on the main floor, with only a few steps to reach anything, and good handholds where needed. The house is a Chartist house, so wonderful history. The grounds are lovely, with several places to sit outside to have your tea (thoughtfully provided on a tray in your room) and watch the many birds and flowers. A river/creek runs behind the house, with a pasture holding two distinguished elderly ponies - one 40 and one 28! Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety, cooked to order. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend.

Found this place through the net and stayed here for 2 nights in July this year (2013). The accommodation was comfortable and extremely neat and clean. I was looking forward to a very homely place with chickens to feed, ponies to pet and stories to hear... and that is exactly what i got!! It was a perfect unwind to the two week family UK trip! And the person who made the stay here as memorable as it has become was its host- Sheila(Irish not Indian!!!) Her energy, warmth and cuteness is simply indescribable! ||Not only have we (family) kept in touch with her post our stay but am sure i shall visit her farm stay again whenever the opportunity presents. If not to stay then may to help her around and just listen to her stories and imbibe her boundless energy!||Definitely recommended.

My daughter & I had a couple of night booked in between competing at Hartpury College this was a great resting place, clean and homely with a lovely breakfast. We had a vehicle breakdown problem and the host was absolutely brilliant and couldn't have helped us more. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing place to unwind in the countryside.

What a gem of a place. Historic, comfortable, scrupulously clean, and Sheila was so welcoming! Eating breakfast outside on a Sunday morning was perfect! We loved it!

When we arrived we thought the place was a bit run down, but when we went inside we found a lovely comfortable clean property, breakfast was excellent and Sheila has great knowledge of the surrounding places to visit.|She also keeps a check on the Motorways so that trouble can be avoided, we would definitely stay here again.
