Fantastic weekend with the wsmba rally. Amazing service, clean and good amenities. Jennie and first thank you so much for looking after us. If anyone goes here you really must have the apple crumble jennir makes it's out of this world. Really flexible looking after our group. We all felt very welcome. Thanks expecially for the breakfast service this morning way above my expectations.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Kingfisher Caravan Park and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Yes the toilets & showers in one block need updating but they were perfectly usable and very clean. I was sceptical about using them after reading other reviews but they were adequate for my needs. The staff in the Reception, Bar & Restaurant were very nice, friendly and made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again. There is a bus stop right outside the site to catch the bus to Gosport or Fareham. We caught the bus to Gosport Ferry which took us over to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth (Β£3.70 return!! ) and had a lovely day exploring. It is certainly worth a try!

I was going to an event in gosport which is why we chose this place, with the reviews we’d read we were a bit worried initially about staying. ||First impressions count for a lot. And I don’t think we got a great welcome. We popped in to check in and say hello, and it felt like we were a bit of an inconvenience. ||From this point we were starting to regret booking the site as we had also read some of the previous reviews.||However we were there for one night and once set up, the weather was good. The site was clean and tidy, the showers and toilets were ok,|The kids had plenty of room to run about, with a small play area next to the clubhouse.||The clubhouse seemed geared towards the residents of the static caravans the other side of the park, but we stopped and had a drink in the evening and it was pleasant enough.||Basically once we were past the initial customer service it was an ok place to stay, and we were happy for the 1 night. ||The only complaint we had was the hot water was too hot. It seems daft, as normally you’d only moan if there was no hot water!! But it was too hot for the kids!! They had about 15 seconds before it heated up to shower!!!!||Apart from this is was an acceptable place for a quick getaway.

Very dog friendly, pitches are quite narrow, very basic shop, but a lovely friendly community, the restaurant seems to run out of supplies but if they do o have your chosen option it's very reasonably priced, and you can chose another option instead one of toilet/shower blocks have been upgraded but the other is in bad shape and the smell is quite offensive at times, there was some dog faces on the pitch we chose, but despite the negatives we would come again. So close to the shingles beach. So we did return with the dogs and they had a ball, they had run out of some of their food options again, and on the Saturday there was a group who decided they were heading the IOW festival being very drunk and singing very badly until 23.30, some late night road noise from motorbikes but despite this we will be back but probably park further away from the road.

We had a brilliant Solstice weekend WSMBA Motorcycle Rally, 20th to 22nd June. Really special Thank You's go to Jenny for keeping the restaurant open for us, doing fab food for us, and a legendary apple crumble; and Kirsty for opening the restaurant early for us to have breakfast, and for doing us fantastic breakfasts. Also, thanks for the great banter and humour ladies. Rob (Scorch)

This park enjoys a good location close to Stokes Bay with Lee on the Solent nearby. The hardstanding motorhome/caravan pitches are level and paved but quite narrow. The site does suffer from road noise on some pitches so choose carefully. There is a clubhouse on site. Water taps are plentiful. There didn't seem to be an opportunity to recycle waste and the Elsan points were stained, giving them an unpleasant appearance when opened. The toilets and showers are clean and quite modern however there is an inconvenient lack of clothes/towel hooks in the shower and toilet cubicles. A female member of staff entered the male facilities without warning during our stay. Generally the place seems to appear a a bit neglected and in need of a little care but it is a great location.
