We spent two wonderful nights at Kings B& B. "Pampered" by a wonderful host who not only provided us with a really fine breakfast every morning but also with very useful recommendations for our trips to the surrounding area. |Rooms were absoluetely charming! 🙂

Location location location, South Molton hides a hidden gem. We loved our night at Kings
b&b, and we are fuss-eee! The rooms are great the ambience totally and gently uplifting, with John’s really impressive but yet again quiet presence, I was transported back to the Devon of my youth, racks of hot wholemeal toast and proper butter, and the wooden grandfather clock opened up to explore. Quite wonderful. Thankyou very much for the help

We stayed overnight last weekend with our 6 year old grandson. John could not have been more accommodating with the additional bed. The room was beautiful, large, airy with a very comfortable ‘huge’ bed. The bathroom offered a full-size shower and also the option of a bath.

Breakfast was a delight and we will definitely stay again!.

Let’s start with John and Catherine, our wonderful hosts ( not forgetting their two friendly dogs!). Nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast each morning was excellent accompanied by a warming wood fire especially lit for us each day. We had the pleasure of being able to park securely behind an eight foot wall with electric gates. All in all wonderfully stress free.| |Now the room. Fabulously large, with very comfortable beds and a very good sized wardrobe for clothes storage (including plenty of clean wooden hangers - a rare treat - they matched as well!). Electric points wherever you need them with two phone charging points either side of the bed. The TV was a ‘Smart’ one with all sorts of different options. Beautifully decorated with a really clean fresh carpet. Tea and coffee was supplied.||Finally the bathroom. Suffice to say you could have fitted the entire bedroom en suite that we paid £180/night for in Rome 27 years ago into that bathroom and still had some floor space to spare! Large bath, large shower, usual ‘facilities’. Once again, excellent.||Five stars? They are well worth 10!

Lovely B&B on a quiet street in town centre. Room extremely comfortable and finished to a very high spec. Spotless throughout. John and Cathy were the perfect hosts, providing 10/10 breakfast and wonderful conversation. Very knowledgeable about the local area. You can really see how passionate they are about ensuring the happiness and comfort of their guests. Secure parking available meant that we could happily leave things in the car without worrying about it. Will definitely be back to Kings B&B next time we visit South Molton.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Kings within the past 3 months. The b&b is excellent. Rooms are so clean and well furnished. The breakfast is one of the best out there. John our host is so welcoming and courteous. Also take a while to look at all his artwork.

Kings has everything one would expect from a high-end boutique B&B. The rooms are furnished and decorated to the very highest standard and the bed was amongst the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The location is central but on a very quiet street looking out over the town and surrounds - I particularly enjoyed the view onto the churchyard and church tower from my room. John was gracious, helpful and very knowledgeable. The cooked breakfast was delicious, all locally sourced and cooked to perfection. Thank you again for such an enjoyable and relaxing stay; we will be back on our next trip down to the SW.
