The setting is very basic and the food, while filling, isn’t anything more than average. Don’t expect much in terms of flavour or barista-quality coffee. It’s a spot for a cheap meal, and that’s really its main appeal.

Dated and I love it! A bit of nostalgia with the decor that probably hasn't changed since the 60's. Refreshing change! As it's a cafe the most important thing is the food and it was fabulous! Two of us had breakfasts and one had bacon roll. The breakfast was really really tasty - my favourite ever! Really nice tasting food, better than I have had at really fancy places and at cheap cafe price! - Perfect! And the gentleman serving was nice and friendly. Definitely be back soon!

Unpretentious, down to earth and authentic old school English cafe.

If you go here hoping for fine dining, you're going to be disappointed - but if you accept it for what it is, it's a thoroughly pleasant and wholesome experience .

Breakfast bap almost always my choice.

Hi everyone.

Old school cafe , the food here it is great and plenty and they server coffee in big mugs so you have plenty of coffee with your food .
Enough parking space available and the location dissent get better then that . They also have terrace , so if you are lucky and the weather is nice I will recommend you to go and have a breakfast over here or any other food available . The prices are fair and as I said the food is plenty no matter what you buy , and I tell you that because I have been here quite a few times in the last 4..5 years.
I have them 3 stars out of 5 because both outside and inside it has been not renovated outside or inside .. the tables outside also I think they need some restoration and definitely inside I would have make it look way more nicer , probably change those ugly glasses that are old and they look dirty even if they are clean.

Overall the location is amazing and the food awesome.

Quite a poor experience unfortunately, staff couldn’t even cook a pre Cooked sausage roll came it soggy and half cold needs more an improvement to management and quality control, place is falling into neglect which is a shame the right owner with this location could make it flourish and take care of the building.

First Lady who took the order was polite but apart from that I really can’t find positive, I’d rather pay 25p more for edible food, I’ll probably steer clear. Might come again to give it another go but first experience was unfortunately poor.

Great old fashioned cafe. Nicely situated in a park right by Bournemouth FC. Ideal for a pre match meal. Had Full English breakfast which was very good and fairly priced. Would recommend.

This is such a lovely typical old school cafe, set in a nice park. The value of the food is great which means you'll want to come back again and the staff are lovely. My wife's breakfast was £4.90. I would definitely recommend coming here at the same time as walking your dogs around Kings Park as we do.

Went there for a meal before I went to the Bus Rally further down in Kings Park.
Had the all day breakfast which I couldn't fault at all.
Considering it was a very busy time, the service was prompt and staff most helpful.
