From the second we arrived we relaxed. The hosts are lovely and informative, the grounds are beautiful and very well kept and the accommodation is just lovely. We spent 3 nights in the Shepherds Hut and we can't wait to go back. It's idyllic and so peaceful, and nothing is too much trouble. If you want time away from the noise and stresses of daily life then this is your place, its just wonderful.

Kingthorpe manor farm has everything you need for a relaxing break. The cabin we stayed in was very comfortable, as was the bed. A great place to get away from the stresses of life and to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Great value too!||||Patrick and Glenys have created a special place and made us feel very welcome. Everything was thought of to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable, even home made dough for making pizzas in the pizza oven! 😋My family and I really enjoyed our stay and we will look forward to visiting again soon.||||Thank you 🙂

This place is absolutely beautiful. The host is so friendly and rightly very proud of his farm. He has lovingly restored the 17th century building to its original glory, with beautiful guest rooms, dining areas and sitting rooms. Outside goats, geese, chickens, ducks (to name a few) hang out by the lake and in the woods. There are eco lodges, a caravan, a shepherds hut all to stay in and places to cook pizzas, have bbqs, have an outside shower or bath and just generally enjoy the beautiful, tranquil setting. Patrick and Glenys are kind, warm very relaxed hosts who make sure your stay is restful as well as joyful. We will stay here again very very soon!

Your hospitality was second to none, I was instantly made me to feel right at home, warm and welcoming. As for the food WOW AMAZING - michelin star consisting of home grown produce or locally sourced. ||||After several years of my friend keeping Kingthorpe manor farm a kept secret of hers, I have managed to finally join her on one of her rerun visits…and I can see why it’s a best kept secret. I’ve had the most wonderful weekend, it’s been like pressing the restart button, you can truly unwind from the hustle and bustle of city living and enjoy the beauty of this hidden gem it’s stunning country surroundings. ||||Relaxation in the steam room is a must! ||||I can not wait to stay here again very very soon and even bring the family next time. ❤️

This was a return visit for me to this fantastic old farmhouse near the town of Wragby in Lincolnshire. Patrick and Glenis are such welcoming hosts it truly felt like I was coming home. I’d forgotten how beautiful and full of character the house is, full of old charm but with all the amenities you could ask for a comfortable stay.||||Everything is first class, from the comfortable beds and crisp clean linen to the peaceful surroundings and delicious food. Breakfast needs a special mention; with fresh seasonal ingredients from the garden, amazing eggs from their own hens, and everything else locally sourced this is what breakfast was meant to be! Patrick is not only a great cook, but is also very passionate about food and, if you are interested, happy to share his knowledge and explain the provenance of his ingredients.||||Did I mention the showers? I’m not as slim as I once was, and it’s good to find accommodation with generously proportioned shower enclosures - not to mention endless hot water and luxurious fluffy towels.||||I stayed in the old manor farmhouse, but they also offer a range of “Glamping” opportunities for those who wish to be a little closer to nature - but still within reach of a little luxury.||||I’m not the only one sufficiently impressed by Kingthorpe to warrant returning. I met a friendly German couple who were on their tenth visit! So, as I say, the whole experience was like coming home ...

Wonderful couple of days ‘on retreat’ in the gorgeous Shepherd’s Hut. Patrick, Glenys and the hens made my stay great. The hut is such a charming space and so toasty with the stove burning bright. The Limewoods are beautiful, even in February, and I’ll be back again I’m sure as storm Dennis kept me from exploring more 😊🌳🕯🐓

We had a fab two night stay in the ‘Sunset’ eco hut. We had everything there we needed but most of all peace and quiet! Patrick was fantastic and really made us feel welcome. The whole place is amazing and clearly has been restored from the ground up with love and attention. We will definitely be back.

Kingthorpe is an absolute gem of a place. Back to nature, surrounded by nature and gorgeous animals. (Dog, cat, hens, two goats and two geese)
We have been three times and stayed in both the eco huts and the 1970s caravan. We love cooking outdoors, sitting around the fire pit of an evening and having a bath beneath the stars. The outdoor shower is a blessing on a boiling hot day. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough for you.
I think there is a little bit of my heart left in Kingthorpe, and I cannot wait to return.
