Attended a works bbq today and the food was disappointing. Burger and hotdogs with limited choice of salad (potato salad, cus cus, lettuce and tomatoes) and no onions provided for the hotdogs. My partner also asked to have one of the normal sausages as she doesn't like hotdogs only to be told no they are for the children.

Gluten free soup and sandwich. Staff took care to ensure Coeliac safe, free from cross contamination. Well done to the chef. Great restaurant manager. Friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent Training Venue

Being a provider of courses having a venue that is professional, efficient and well run is always important.
Kippie have a fantastic function suite equipped with everything required including digital tv, projector/screen, comfortable furniture & onsite catering. Not to mention the friendly and approachable reservations team, food and beverage team and anyone associated with the venue.
A daily complimentary offering of pastries and tea/coffee was well received by the students every morning and a welcoming smile from all team members serving us.
I won't think twice to run future courses with Kippie Lodge and look forward to attending this venue again.

Struggled to serve a group of 12 seemed to tax ability to prepare food for that number. After serving half the food advised us that one of the dishes ordered had run out so had to wait while they prepared something else. Meant one of the party was served 15 mins after everyone else. Took 10 mins for cutlery to arrive after food on the table so already getting cold before we could start eating. Food itself was so-so apart from haddock and chips that was superb.
