We had a really fantastic wedding at Kippilaw. Lil and Rachel were responsive, flexible, and supportive in helping us make the day whatever we wanted it to be.

The food was wonderful, with a wide range of options available to us. The bride gives the sticky toffee pudding (her favourite) two thumbs up. The quantity of food across three courses was also ideal, with a great spread covering all tastes at the evening buffet. We had two vegans at the wedding, who reported that it was the best food and most catered for they have ever felt at a wedding.

The range of rooms meant the guests were able to mingle in cosy surroundings, with quieter areas for those who wanted them. The grounds are as beautiful as the house.

lovely venue, lovely staff, lovely food. randomly some very funky old toilets. rooms upstairs are very pleasant. it feels like visiting your very rich great aunt. weather wasn't suitable, but looked like there was nice space for hanging outside as well with picnic tables and benches outside.

Perfect stay for my hen do. We were let down by our original venue at the last minute, and thank God because this was such an upgrade! Beautiful grounds and a stunning house with everything you need. I hope I’ll be back in future for some other big event!

Kippilaw House was perfect for our 85 person wedding. Beautiful backdrop getting married under the tree. We stayed the full weekend with close friends and relatives, and were able to stay up as late as we wanted on the wedding night. Dinner was reasonable and easy to organize. The Ceilidh hall was on the smaller side for 85 but everyone was able to fit and dance with the live band. Very thankful we found this home instead of a more public hotel.

Recently had our wedding here and it was absolutely fantastic. Lil and Rachel worked with us to plan an amazing experience. Thanks to the hot weather, we were able to get married outside and it was beautiful. My partner and I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day, absolutely everything was handled for us. Food was delicious with delicious options for all dietary requirements. We actually had a full vegetarian menu and it was delicious. So many options to pick from as opposed to just adding veggie options as an afterthought. The sharing pavlova also went down a treat with everyone (including those who had to have dairy free options!). We had lots of freedom and flexibility to decorate and design our day too Thanks again to all!

We had the most amazing weekend getting married at kippilaw. Everything from the first email was spot on. Lil and Rachel were on hand to answer any questions, give advise and help us plan our day. The house was clean and the gardens were well kept. Just a perfect location for a gathering, every one of our guests loved the place and want to do it all over again 🤣

Kippilaw was the perfect venue for our Christmas away day. Lil was extremely accommodating of our requests and put on a beautiful festive meal in the evening. Her staff were lovely and the food delicious. The perfect relaxed atmosphere for a great Christmas party.
