I really enjoyed my stay here as did both of my friends. When you walk you are instantly hit with a warm ambience that was perfect for the autumn weather (who am I kidding it was perfect for the UK weather overall). They have decorated this place amazingly and the atmosphere was wonderful. The staff were 11/10 soooo friendly! I have never been to a place that genuinely felt like home. I’m so sorry I didn’t get any of your names but you were all truly amazing and so accommodating, especially for my friend’s vegetarian breakfast. The food was delicious and the portions were massive! The room that we stayed in though, it was the cherry on top of the most wonderful cake. It was bright, well decorated, so clean and the spare bed was all set up for us. I will 100% be coming back and I truly recommend to anyone and everyone. They are also dog friendly and have dog friendly rooms and treats on arrival for your furry friends! If I could give this place 6/5 I absolutely would! Plus who doesn’t love a two for fourteen pound cocktail deal (Monday - Thursday)!

Fantasic place to stay. Close to everything. Parking was very good, lots of spaces.
A very welcoming feel to the Inn with a great atmosphere.
Room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed. All very clean.
Buffet breakfast was very good. Bar area very cosy with lots of areas to eat and drink

Staff were ALL very cheerful and extremely helpful!
We hope to return there one day.

We only went in for food and drinks. It's a really nice bar/restaurant with a great menu.
My only small gripe was the choice of beer.... All real ales were Cornish, no Yorkshire beers on despite all the amazing breweries within 20 miles.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Inn. We had a slight issue at the start with our room which was up some very steep outside steps. When we flagged up the problem the manager quickly gave us a different room on ground level without any fuss. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good with a good selection of hot and cold foods.

Can't comment on the rooms as we had to cancel at the last moment. The staff at the hotel and at the booking line were fantastic about it and really pleasant and helpful. The hotel looked beautiful and Knaresborough is really nice. We were disappointed we couldn't stay due to circumstances, but have vowed to return

Very, very nice indeed. Great bartender. Took time out for a chat to discuss Guinness (£6.50 a pint) - best one I had all day in Knaresborough... Thank you ?

There was one hiccup in what was otherwise a very nice stay. Traveling with my nephew and we booked the double room with sofa bed. We didn’t think to specify, and they didn’t think to ask, about setting up the sofa bed. When we got back and went to set up the bed there was no linen or blanket, and the hotel staff had left for the night.

Other than that everything was great, good breakfast and decent room, but the bed situation was a definite issue. There were extra pillows in the room, a spare blanket just in case would have been enough to get by.

Went today, food was great, only drawback was sitting on a back to back bench seat with an over active junior behind us. I had the Eton mess which sounded nice with strawberries, but I only found 4 1/8 segments,, equating to 1/2 strawberry!
