Just returned from a week in Daffodil Lodge. What a delight. The lodge was amazing. It was spotless and every surface gleamed. The welcome pack was delicious especially the lovely loaf of bread and the wine. Cutlery and crockery were good quality Denby and there was a full quantity of glassware. We didn't use pots and pans very much but they also were of a high standard. Beds were excellent with spotless sheets and duvets. Towels, bathrobes and slippers were provided. We had a small problem with the cover to our hot-tub but that was sorted out less than 30 minutes after reporting it. The tub itself was excellent and was cleaned every day. This must be one of the best lodges available in the country..

Wonderful weekend in the Mulberry lodge, perfectly situated at the top of the site, offering wonderful views.||The lodge is perfect for a couple wishing to have a romantic break in peaceful surroundings.||Hot tub was amazing, clean, maintained daily. Could lie back and view the sunshine & blue sky one minute or thunder clouds rolling through next. Sat watching a couple of wild hares roaming the field and kite birds up above. Beautiful all from the tub.||Bread, cake & prosecco, a welcome touch on arrival.||The only downside would be a new mattress. This one was definitely past it's best.||Will definitely be staying here again, this lodge was amazing and just right.

What an amazing weekend! The lovely welcome bread, cake, fizz were a lovely touch. Robes and slippers in each bedroom. Spotlessly clean. Lots of great amenities like a washer, dishwasher, iron and board. ||I cannot rate this place highly enough. We will definitely be back!

One of the nicest lodges we have been to. Lovely staff and lots of added extras provided on arrival to make our stay extra special. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to return!

Just came home frome 3 nights in one of the lodges. So clean and tidy, lovely to arrive to milk in the fridge, cake, prosecco, butter tea and coffee. Beds very comfortable and everything was fantastic. Love the way you collect your key from the key lock and you dont have to worry about receptions etc. Contact was made to make sure everything was ok. |2 suggestions i would make |* Maybe a sun shade on the terrace as we had incrediable weather but my children couldnt find any shaded areas outside with us. X |*some fly spray in the cuboards, i know its the countryside but we had sooooo many flies in the lodge that bomb dived you at night too ..ha ha . |But wow totally minor things and would def book again it was wonderful x

Absolutely awful holiday! Would never ever return here. The people that run this have no idea how to speak to customers and all they care about is taking your money. We experienced an electrical fault in our lodge on the second day of being there. One half of the lodges electrics didn’t work including the hot tub, kitchen and main bedroom. The owner came to look at the issue and said it was the hot tub tripping the electrics and that we couldn’t use the hot tub. They refused to resolve the issue, did not offer us any solution and not once apologised for us not being able to use what we paid for. We spoke to the manager Jodie who answered the call quite rudely with “I’m driving” and then proceeded to tell us to calm down when we asked her to resolve the issue before hanging up the phone on us. For the rest of our stay they ignored all of our phone calls and we had to stay in this lodge with faulty electrics and no use of the hot tub for the rest of the stay. The lodge it’s self was lovely and the issue could have been quite easily resolved with alternatives but it’s a shame the people running it have no care for their customers when something goes wrong! I can see from other reviews on alternative booking platforms that people have had a similar experience in regards to their customer service. I would give this a zero if I could and will definitely not be returning!

DO NOT BOOK!! Just don’t think about it… looks are deceiving. Worse lodge getaway I’ve ever ever experienced. ||No clue how to run a business properly. They think giving you a £1 fruit cake and a pint of milk makes up for their shocking customer service. Don’t get greeted whatsoever, just sent a text and left to it, until they come driving around, spying on you in there green Land Rover. Couldn’t have asked for a worse getaway. Unbelievably shocking service from all staff on site, apart from poor jay the pool guy.||We weren’t allowed to use the hot tub for 2 days due to electrical issues with half of the lodge, and no electrical team onsite whatsoever - just a cleaning team, resulting in us having to go without the main facility we paid for when booking this lodge, and being told there’s nothing we can do until next week. We were not the only ones with issues with the hot tubs either! Spoke to a group of girls and they had complained about there Hot tub too, but nothing was actioned…||||What a shame. Never again could anyone even pay me to stay here again.

Stayed in the Mulberry Lodge for my partners 30th Birthday and what an amazing weekend. Hot tub was great and having a sauna inside the bathroom was a great add. Perfect size lodge for two of us. Had a bottle of Prosecco, bread, fruit cake and lots of other added treats in the lodge when we arrived and the bed was super comfy! For my partner I requested balloons and the communication/planning was so quick and easy and managed to get this planned and set up. Will definitely be back.
