I would 10/10 recomend.

We love bbq and hired Knights of the Round Grill for our 50-person wedding..
Richard and Dana are very nice people, very patient, and very helpful. Katie as well.

We got married at home in our garden, not a easy place to find so they check before time where our wedding would be so they would be here on the day without having to call us if they got lost, comunication since the beginning 10/10. Helped with the choice of the menu.

They are amazing people. Richard just made everything so easy for us ! We had zero worries with them and zero stress.

FOOD JUST UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!

So good that, on the day.... 15 people didn't manage to come. you would think they will be soooo muchhh left over...Well let me tell you, my guests LOVED the bbq buffet, and many of them repeated so many times that there was not much left ?

Some of my guest even asked Richard for tips for their bbq at home.

We will, without a doubt, continue eating their food every time they are nearby.

Richard and Dana: Thank you guys for being a delicious part of our wedding. People still talk about the food on the day, and i know we will always remember it.

Richard and his team at Knights of the Round Grill provided outstanding catering for our wedding on 29th June 2024.

We chose a tipi venue and wanted something informal that fit the vibe without compromising on quality or experience. The Knights fit the bill perfectly. We chose to offer our guests beef brisket, pulled lamb and shredded chicken with sides of soft bread rolls, potato wedges and salad with a variety of sauces. Pulled Jackfruit was on offer for vegetarian guests, and gluten/dairy intolerances were also taken into account. Desserts were key lime pie and strawberry cheesecake, and we had beef or veggie tacos for the evening.

The food was incredible! So tasty, I am glad the bride and groom got to go up first and truly dig in! Everyone raved about the food, from the taste to the quality, and even the interesting sauces on offer (the cherry bbq one was my favourite!). We ensured our other suppliers such as musicians and photographer/videographer were fed and they loved it too. One said ‘best wedding food ever’.

Our guests were invited up to the hot buffet a table at a time and I think this worked well. I think table service in the tipi may have been a little chaotic with the chairs and tipi beams as possible trip hazards, so I felt it worked really well. People also went up for seconds, so everyone was happy and well fed!

Knights provided crockery and cutlery for a charge which elevated things and still made for a nice experience. The evening tacos were served in eco friendly disposable trays which also worked well. We had so much meat left over all venue staff were invited to eat and we still had two large trays of meat to take home with us!

I spoke with our vegetarian guests and they loved the jackfruit option, found it very satisfying.

The tacos were so tasty! I didn’t think I had any room after the main meal and yet as soon as I tasted one I finished a whole tray of tacos and nacho chips! The perfect picky food for an evening with drinks flowing.

Richard and his team also kindly cut my wedding cake for me and displayed it for guests which was very helpful and appreciated. They also boxed up some cake for myself and the groom to ensure we got some!

If you’re after a wedding caterer outside the ‘sit down meal’ option and want something more informal without compromise and you love your meat, Knights are the caterers for you!

After visiting a couple of pop up events we took the plunge and booked for our wedding after party. Right from the beginning both Richard and Dana were a pleasure to deal with, offering constructive advice and also listening to our needs. This approach led to a perfect package for our wedding, which they delivered and more. Polite, helpful service, great tasting food and good sized portions (no one was left hungry) meant all our guests were very happy.
On the evening virtually everyone commented on the quality and taste of the food totally justifying our choice of caterer’s which was not the norm for a wedding, however several friends commented that the informal nature of the service, coupled with the type of food added to the overall relaxed/happy mood.

I've been wanting to try food from Knights of the Round Grill since I heard about them. They had a pop-up at a local pub, so I had to go along and they didn't disappoint. Absolutely delicious tasty food. Highly recommended.

We used Knights of the round grill for our wedding in August they did to sittings for us with free use of a pop up marquee after our wedding with hot rolls and evening was a buffet was 5 star service Richard was great from the moment we enquired to the day itself took all the stress from us and the food served was top quality had some great feed back from our guest would highly recommend for a wedding or any othe catering needs thanks again

Richard and his team were our catering partner for my recent 50th birthday party. Throughout the entire process, they brought a compelling blend of professionalism and passion about the services they provide. Every detail was taken into consideration in the planning phase and we agreed a menu that promised to overwhelm the taste buds! Suffice to say, Richard and his team literally blew us and our guests away with the culinary experience they took us on - from the tantalising starters (best pigs in blankets I’ve ever tasted), through to the lovingly cooked and seasoned meats (and yes, the beef brisket really is as good as everybody says) and finishing off with stunning puddings (the biscoff cheesecake being particularly popular). I have never been to an event where so many people went back for seconds, thirds, fourths - this is testament to the sheer tastiness of Richard’s creations. To help contextualise this feedback, I rarely write reviews and never of this length but what Richard and his team delivered for us will be a talking point for my guests for many years to come. We’re now just trying to figure out what type of event we can conjure up soon to get him back again!

There’s a lot of fake bbq about these days. This isn’t. Committed and passionate people turning out incredible brisket, pork and these delicious tacos. Highly recommend

Absolutely superb, when Richard came to help with our demo cooking show at Stratford upon Avon Food Festival. He was totally hands on, multi tasking with our stage The Circus of Food.
Setting equipment up, gazebo, custom stage, cooking kit, sound, light, audio, ancillaries etc.
He did several great cooking and tasting demonstrations to audiences. Took great photos of all sorts of things for promo purposes.
I'd definitely recommend Richard and The Knights of the Round Grill for catering and event management.
A great, sociable chap as well!
No hesitation at all working with him again.
