I had a great stay at this B&B in Shanklin. From my first phone call to the morning I checked out, the service and hospitality was very high.
Vera and Martin were always smiling and very helpful with knowledge of the area and even booking me and my motorbike on the ferry at a discounted price.
The en-suite room with everything you need, breakfast with so many options and other social areas got top marks and there was even somewhere to park my bike overnight safely.
I will have no hesitation in staying here again on my next visit to the Isle of Wight, Vera and Martin run a very good B&B.

Lovely location, nice and quiet but only 2 minutes walk to the cliff lift and Shanklin Esplanade. Warm welcome and a very nice, spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Breakfast cooked to order, great selection, and very smooth, fast service. What more can you ask for? I would recommend this place to any couple looking for a relaxing stay with plenty of peace and quiet.

Ideal location, close to the cliff lift to the beach and the restaurants, pubs and shops, but in a quiet area. Ample private parking which is a plus. Lovely cosy place with great facilities. Owners are lovely, friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Will definitely stay here again. Shanklin itself is an attractive place, with great amenities and it's easy to get to any of the island attractions so makes a good base.

This is the absolute home from home. Vera bless her is an absolute diamond. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Along side Vera is Carol a lovely lovely lady who makes you feel so welcome to breakfast. The B&B is so comfortable and just like going home. We have stayed here a few times now and have booked again for next year. You will love it.

I spent days looking at reviews of hotels and b and b's in Shanklin. I wasn't sure if the knights rest was the place for me,but I went with my gut after reading the lovely feedback and booked. I'm actually still here on my stay but felt inclined to post now and say how glad I am I came here. The host Vera is amazing. She's not over attentive but just right. She goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. I fell asleep in the beautiful conservatory and she laid a blanket over me. Nothing is too much. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The dining room is gorgeous. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. Perfect location between the beach and high street. Can't express thanks enough for being made to feel so welcome. Thank you!! ?

Its a beautiful bed and breakfast very unique inside set in a lovely place near to the beach and shops and handy for the theatre Owners very helpful place lovely and clean.

The welcome was very warm and Vera was so lovely. However,our room was tired and needed updating. There was no fan so it was very uncomfortable to sleep. Our main concerns were that the pine furniture was falling apart. When you opened a drawer the front would come off in your hand. The shower although fully operational was tiny and had a high step which we were concerned was a trip hazard. The bed was comfortable which was a saving grace. We only had breakfast twice opting for the veggie option which was OK. There was no option offered for yoghurt or fruit salad or pastries. Also our cooked food was brought to us while we had barely started our cereal. The things that let this down could be so easily rectified. The location was good for exploring Shanklin. We felt that at £90 per night the standard should have higher.
