Visited both the farm shop and cafe today. The farm shop has a fantastic range of fresh local produce, we bought baked goods and sausages.

We went to the cafe, had to wait 20 minutes for a table because it was a busy weekend, however was given a buzzer and we were happy to wait, staff are very polite and helpful.

We both had the ham broth and it was delicious, this was then followed by a flapjack from the farm shop, 1 is big enough to share between two, it has got to be one of the nicest flapjacks I’ve ever had in my life, whoever bakes the cakes needs a pay rise.

Would highly recommend a visit to Knitsley Farm Shop & Cafe.

First time visiting this venue and on arrival at the farm shop we were massively impressed, such an array of goodies to purchase. The veg looks so fresh and the butchers produce looks impressive also. We had a good chat with the butcher and he was so helpful and knowledgeable. They even make their own corned beef in the Deli which they were also so helpful and gave me a sample to try, it was wonderful and nothing like that tinned stuff we are all used to. The bakery was very impressive also as they start baking at 3am, which you can tell as everything looks so fresh. The fruit and cheese scones were huge and only £1 each. So much to feast your eyes on at this place.

Next we had to try the cafe next door and the service was excellent I had the pork bun with chips and could only manage to eat the pork bun and about half a dozen chips. My wife had the cheese and onion quiche and salad and it’s the best quiche I’ve ever tasted. The quiche was so good we went back to the shop and bought one to freeze. The portions in here are very generous and not for the faint hearted.

All in all a wonderful experience and we have joined the loyalty card programme and will definitely be back.

My friend came to visit me in Devon and visited your farm shop the day before to bring me some sausages... 10 packs all varied flavours, black pudding, wild boar pate ploughman's pork pie cheese and a Caribbean chicken stir fry ,i was gifted with. Everything ive tried has been an absolute joy to eat the balance of ingredients is superb in everything and the quality of the sausages and variety of flavours was a treat to eat. One very happy chappie in Devon.

This place was a hidden gem that we visited after exploring the most well-reviewed eateries in town. Knitsley Farm tops these lists, and it's no wonder. The shop is clean, brilliantly stocked, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The café food is incredible, a must-try at least once, but I suspect that anyone would want to return.

Knitsley is probably my favourite farm shop. The shop itself has an excellent range of locally sourced produce, covering a wide range including delicious own baked bread, and gorgeous cakes and pastries. The butchers is very high quality with excellent meat and great service from proper butchers. The pork is to die for. The homemade pies are outstanding. There is also a cosy cafe with a wonderful range of meals and snacks, all homemade. A standout feature is that the staff are particularly friendly and helpful. Love it.

Came for breakfast here yesterday.
Served by the friendliest staff - so welcoming.
Ordered the full English and asked for no black pudding - so was asked what I’d like to replace it with!!! Very impressed!
Came out quickly, piping hot and delicious.
Called into the shop on the way out for pies and cakes - too lovely to resist.
First visit - will not be the last.

I am so jealous of anyone who lives within "popping in" distance of this amazing shop and cafe. It is first class with a capital F. I don't have enough characters to describe my joy of seeing what's on offer in their butchery and shop and then tasting the amazing breakfast in the well run cafe. If you have the chance, stop and enjoy. You won't regret it.
