Fabulous tranquil cosy place to stay for a short break, if you're looking for something truly different with scenic views from a hot tub and luxury accommodation, you will not be disappointed, this is a gem!

Wow what a stunning place! Has absolutely everything you could need and Ewa and John were great and easily contactable. Views are gorgeous and both us and our little Yorkie will miss it greatly!

This place ticks all the boxes. The location was our first priority as we wanted a rural private setting and this beautiful home definitely ticked that box. Not to mention overlooking a loch. Style of property, open, comfortable, big rooms, great outdoor space, with everything you need and more, not only this but the premium appliances and kitchen tools made you feel very much looked after and certainly no expense spared.
All of the above ticked all of our boxes but one of the other things that really stood out to us was the service that Ewa and John provided. Their communication was above and beyond and you felt they were there if you needed anything but let you relax and enjoy your time with no interruptions. We stayed 3 nights in August and had the best time. We plan to book for April and depending on when our grandson has an operation we are hoping to do a short break in November also. We couldn't recommend it enough.

Simply, WOW! From the view to the toaster, everything about Knockderry Lodge is 7 star. If there was an 8 star rating, this property would get it. Setting aside the immaculate presentation (this is the cleanest property we've ever rented), the amazing welcome pack, the equisite decor and the top end quality of every whistle and bell (and there is EVERY whistle and EVERY bell!), the drama of both the property and location are hard to describe. Even the exceptional website doesn't quite capture how special this spot is. The lodge is phenomenal value for money and the service from Ewa and John, their attention to detail, quite frankly, exceeds the 7 stars. I can't recommend this property highly enough. Just don't book it when we want to go back!! 😉

Knockderry Lodge is a very special place to visit, and one we won't forget. The outstanding views and location is just the beginning and once we arrived, we were overwhelmed at the sheer luxury and quality provided. The attention to detail from start to finish was incredible and the hosts Ewa & John made us feel welcome and like VIPs from start to end. The home is finished to an awesome standard, and excellently appointed with high quality fittings and equipment. There was quite literally nothing missing and we continued to be surprised and delighted throughout our stay as we discovered more and more features, from the top of the range coffee machine to the full size juke box, the enormous hot tub to the highest quality TVs with Sky in every room (including outside next to the hot tub!). We planned to go sight seeing and explore the area, but never actually left the premises because we didn't want to miss a moment of it, even though Wellington boots and walking equipment is all there provided for you.
The enormous kitchen provides every possible utensil and gadget, great for making meals in, although we opted to BBQ outside most nights, and even that is a Heston Blumenthal Everdure BBQ!
This is the perfect place to go and unwind for all ages. We are a youngish family with a busy worklife who never usually sit still, but found this house enabled us to switch off and relax fully, the perfect antidote to our usual schedule. We cannot wait to return and would highly recommend Knockderry Lodge.

I took my sister and cousin here to celebrate my sister’s 40th birthday. We have stayed in a LOT of really nice places over the years but this lodge was honestly like walking into pure indulgent bliss. Everything we could ever have wanted was there. The couple who run it have created a mini paradise in the middle of a glorious Scottish hill with views that are hard to believe are actually real. Utterly breathtaking. Loved every single moment and didn’t want to leave. Thank you Ewa and John. You really have created something I’ve never seen before in Scotland. Heaven on earth.

Honestly exactly what we needed… stunning surroundings (we slept with the blinds open every night so we could sleep to the distant lights and wake up to the phenomenal views. Knockderry Lodge had everything we needed and extra, the honesty cupboard was a godsend. Dog friendly without feeling on tenterhooks, hard floors throughout and honestly perfection. The hot tub views were amazing, we sat for ages just in awe of the view.

The garden isn’t fully enclosed for those whose dogs wander. Ours were incredibly well behaved and it wouldn’t prevent us returning. The dogs adored the space and loved being on sheep watch.

The occasional sheep popped into the garden which was super cute to see before shooing them off.

Knockderry lodge was absolutely the R+R we needed and absolutely adored this spot. THANKYOU so much for having us

This is a highly recommended place to visit with top views, top accommodation and top hosts.
5 out of 5 on every possible item, clean, tidy and comfortable and a truly enjoyable way to experience the art of relaxation.
