Wow. The food is just absolutely top. Bursting flavours. Even the steamed vegetables were delicious. We had the saltfish and ackee with rice and peas, pistachio cheesecake (huge slice!) And fresh sorrel and ginger. And I've never been to a carribbean place that takes such pride in the presentation or has SUCH range of amazing cakes, ice cream and coffees. Waitress kindly brought us some gravy from the oxtail to juicy up the rice.

If there could be some outdoor seating to make it a little more alfresco, a loo just in case and a bit of music this place would be unbeatable.

Cream beignets, Korean milk buns, Maritozzi and Devonshire splits are the latest trend at the moment.
Basically doughnuts/buns filled with whipped cream overload.
I love fresh cream doughnuts so its great seeing this craze.
Discovered that Kravez have it so gave them a try.
Their doughnuts are filled with fresh cream and were even better than expected.
Each bite was heavenly with fluffy cream and pillowly doughnut complimented by the sweet strawberries.
This is probably my favourite so far as the cream, bun and strawberries were to my liking as opposed to brioche buns and Asian milk buns.
The reason I didn't try earlier was the location being uphill with a few traffic lights to cross but finally made it as I was checking out a new shop nearby.
They make their own cakes and know well of the trends as well as appreciate good food.
As well as cakes, they also have an impressive Caribbean hot food range which I will come back for more.

Sent my daughters in to grab a Pattie. She ordered a chicken Pattie. The lady heated it and asked my 10 year old if it’s hot enough: surely it should have been heated to a certain temperature as you’re reheating chicken!
So I sent my daughter back in and said ask for it to be heated until it’s hot as it was luke warm. After coming back out. She bit the pastry and said mummy is that chicken? I said let me see. Well my goodness I don’t think I’ve seen such a horrendous Pattie, I had no idea what meat it was it was just dry flakes of meat I honestly couldn’t tell you what it was. To be honest I didn’t think you could get a Pattie so wrong! It was dry, over cooked, soggy pastry with what looked like onion skin inside. Honestly have no words. And at £2.50 a Pattie!
I haven’t brought it back as we were on our way out. I’m sure if I didn’t they would just refund me but haven’t got time to return until a couple days time and by then it will also be off!

The customer service was amazing (top tier), we went in just to have a look and maybe grab a Pattie, but ended up getting drawn in and bought ackee and Saltfish stuffed dumpling and it was AMAZING! I would have preferred more filling but the food was divine. My friend got the same and one of the brownies and she really enjoyed it. Would definitely come again and am planning to soon!!

Those is my second visit and I tried the goat today (the pepper steak was lovely last time) I had the full intention of posting a picture of my food but then the smell hit so here is my empty container instead. Really good portion size and great service so well worth a visit.

Food is delicious and FRESHHH!! Cakes are delightful and they’re such nice people. I thought they were abit pricey because usually getting ethic food from way out here is that way, but it turns out it was just because I was ordering off just eat. They have a beautiful shop and the food is veryyyyy reasonably priced, and the lady in the store even fried the plantain whilst I was sitting there to ensure it was fresh. Would definitely recommend!!

I ordered from the To Good To Go app. It told me to pick up between 6pm and 8pm. I arrived just after 6pm and it was closed. Why bother listing something on the app for a pickup time when you're closed? I went out of my way to get there as it's not local to me, incurring time and money for travel. I will not be going there again.
