Absolutely amazing stay! My partner and I stayed last night, with our pup, Milo. We arrived later in the evening, but still got the most impeccable service!
We were shown to our room, and offered a different room to suit the dog, which was perfect for him! Despite him being nervous and barking a bit (sorry about that), everyone was so lovely! We cannot fault anything!
The breakfast was amazing, and even came with a little extra something for Milo!!
We will definitely be back in the future!
Thanks again! 🙂

Stayed for three nights to meet up with family and enjoyed our stay. First impression of our room was that it was very dark and quite small - but got used to it and it served us well . Staff were very friendly and breakfasts good!! Would stay again- though unlikely to be in Bedlington again ( living in Spain!)

My stay at Lairds House Bedlington hotel was truly exceptional. We spent one night there with my family, and the staff went above and beyond in terms of hospitality. Every member of the team was extremely helpful and always had a smile on their face, which made all the difference in our experience.

There were several occasions where the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. One such instance was when we arrived late at night, and the bar was about to close. Nevertheless, they allowed us to take a whisky shot to our room, showing flexibility and consideration for the guests.

Another point I'd like to highlight is the hotel's pet-friendly policy. For a small extra fee, we were able to bring our furry friend along, which made our trip even more special.

Additionally, it was my birthday during the stay, and the staff made sure to make it memorable. During breakfast, the receptionist found a cake so we could celebrate, and they even encouraged us to make some noise, appreciating the liveliness of a festive breakfast.

Last but not least, when my mother forgot her shoes at the hotel, the staff was extremely helpful in helping to resolve the issue. They arranged for the boots to be sent back to us, making the process simple and stress-free.

Overall, my family and I felt truly welcomed by everyone at Lairds House Bedlington hotel and had a sensational experience. I highly recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in the area.

Not been for a while. There's lots of competition within a 5 mile radius and having sampled well over a dozen different restaurants and public houses, lairds House still ranks in my top three places to eat. Top two for food, probably top for service and value.
The food is excellent. Not over priced. The surroundings and decor are right up my wife and my street.
We take all family and friends who visit us to this lovely place to eat, especially on a Sunday.
Keep up the great work.

Afternoon tea was ok. But nothing special . Lots of egg sandwiches. Only 3 of each scones on a table of 6. But pleasant enough.

I grew up in Bedlington but now live in London, and came to the Laird's House for a friend's wedding. The ceremony, the dinner and the evening do were all provided by the Laird's House, and I also stayed over and had breakfast and lunch there the next day.

Honestly this is one of the best experiences I have had at a small hotel. The wedding arrangements all seemed really smooth and accomodating, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the food at all three meals was really good. The decor in the rooms and downstairs is nicely idiosyncratic (think turn of the 20th century) and feels cosy and welcoming, and in keeping with the historic building. I also learned to my surprise that Bedlington has a sea view!

If I was to make one note it would be that not everybody likes brioche buns at every opportunity (eg breakfast bacon rolls) but honestly that is personal taste and massively nitpicking.

All in all, really well done to everyone at the Laird's House who contributed to a lovely weekend.

First visit to Lairds for Sunday lunch on their special £19 for two courses. Food was good and staff were welcoming and friendly. Easy parking to the rear and the place is dog friendly, which is always a bonus. Will definitely visit again.

The Look Laird's House manages to combine a fairly traditional pub with a restaurant and rooms in a building with many levels, corridors and stairways - all of which it does pretty well

My room was spacious and well equipped, the food was good and the staff were super friendly.

Other good points include the free parking just behind the hotel c/w with multiple EV charging options

The WiFi could do with an upgrade but that doesn't mean I wouldn't stay here again because I definitely would if I was in the area.
