What a perfect lodge to stay, Justine has been brilliant, the lodge has everything you need, BBQ, lovely decking, spotlessly clean lodge, this is our 2nd time here, but already wanting to come back, which we will be,|Thanks again Justine, can't wait to book again.

The place the location the weather was just all stunning and everything you need for a long weekend or longer. Location is perfect toy have all sorts within a short drive or a short walk. From watersports to nice pubs all family and dog friendly.

Doormouse lodge is perfect, so clean and tidy, made good use of the BBQ, so relaxing quiet, the lodge has everything you need, best lodge we have stayed in, the site is lovely and clean, had Sunday dinner at the restaurant, food good and fairly priced, our dog loved her mini breakaway, Thanks to Justine your lodge is prefect, we will be booking again, Thanks Glenn, Helen and Missy the Jack Russell.

Just returned from a 4 night stay and it was lovely overall, Lodge was immaculate with everything you could need, park is clean tidy and secure the clubhouse offers some really nice food and drink at reasonable prices and for the Lake District and surrounding areas an excellent base. Now for the downsides…. Booked from website a lodge on the Lake with beautiful decking and panoramic lake view, which was actually right at the back of the park and no view, and road noise which was actually mentioned in a post on here before. When I questioned reception was informed that website shows style of lodge not what you think your booking so buyer beware. Also bless them the restaurant staff were rushed off there feet with COVID restrictions and park being nearly full so maybe some recruitment may be beneficial. Also on facilities no shop on site. Overall still a lovely Place, wouldn’t return as felt misled and there’s plenty of competition. Pure Leisure should be more honest on booking.

The accommodation was spacious and on the whole good. We had a slight issue with the shower screen, it allowed the water to run underneath it and the bathroom floor ended up with a large puddle.
Cleaning staff need a few words, one of our children found a box of migraine tablets under their bed...very dangerous if it had been found and ingested by a youngster, the standing lamps definitely need cleaning as the shades are full of dead insects and the bathroom blind was covered in mould.

We stayed here for a weeks honeymoon starting 20/09/20.||An absolute credit to Sheryl & Paul as it was so relaxing and secluded and in a great location. It was super clean and has all the little things you need for your stay. Board games, netflix, dishwasher and the best thing was the hot tub. Loved it so much we were in it every day. We now want one.||A massive thanks to Cheryl & Paul for making our special time even more special, especially in these trying times. ||We will be back.||Paula & Alan.

Well situated and lovely location with good restaurant the lodge’s were well equipped and nice fixtures and fittings with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely en suite bathroom and nice family bathroom they have lovely views over the lake.

Immaculate lodge, very comfortable, fabulous hot tub. Everything you can think of is available from cling film to hand sanitiser in every room. Excellent hosts we had one tiny issue with tv and Paul came round to fix it. Really lovely chill out.
