Very expensive and small portions. The official lunch time is between 12 pm to 2 pm. But after 1 pm the food is not very fresh/warm most of the days. The only reason I visit this place is, there are not many options in Science park for lunch.

Expensive, but the taste of the food is not good and the serving size coupd be better. Also, I feel like the amount charged sometimes depends on the person at the till. The only reason I am visiting this place is, there are no other accessible options in science park.

Update Feb 2023: Lunch portions have recently gotten even smaller and more expensive. £6.40 for a half-filled lunch box.

Why are the portions so tiny!? No point in being stingy even with the rice or potato sides.

Old review, 4/5 stars:
Lunch menu has noticeably improved since the new head chef took over a few months ago. It’s reliably tasty now, just the portions of the side dish are quite small sometimes. I.e. the menu says Burger and Wedges, and you get literally 3 small potato wedges.

Really bad food, sometimes overcooked.
No forks for your lunch and general bad service.

Couple of suggestions re the lunch menu:
- Would be good if there were some non-cheese panini options. Usually there are four options, all with cheese.
- Would be worth having an option for a ‘spoonful’ from the salad bar as a meal accompaniment. It’s slightly overkill to be charged for a full portion (and be told off, into the bargain).
