Arrived for an overnight stay at this little Gem in Auchterarder on Tuesday. Was greeted by Clare, who organised a taxi to take me up to Gleneagles for a spa day. Went over to the||All Seasons Bistro across the road, owned and run by Clare & Phil for a meal later at night - Food was fab! Retired back over the road. Stayed in a single room, which was very comfortable, and ||then enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the morning. All in All a very nice stay, will recommend to friends and family. Thanks

What a wee gem of a place , clean tidy and comfortable, internet access if required, extremely local and superb breakfasts. Clare and Phil were fantastic hosts and i definitely wish to stay there again given the opportunity. Working at Gleneagles for the Johnny walker championships , it was the ideal location .|||| Ryder Cup 2014 I suggest you could not do better for location or for a quality B&B.

Clare and Phil provide an excellent b&b experience. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent. But more than all that, they are both true natural hosts. Despite it being the busiest time for the area during the Ryder Cup, they could not have been more helpful. Absolutely 1st class.

Another time visiting the family but couldn't stay with them so I stumbled across this wee place! Just as well! Great location in the centre of the high street with well equipped rooms perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was great (thanks phil!) and I was well looked after at dinner in the all seasons bistro across the road also owned by phil and clare. Would recommend to all! 🙂

We went for the T in the Park weekend in July 2015.||When we arrived early in the morning, everything seemed fine, so we left our bags and went to the festival. When we arrived back late, we found a situation where there were several people gathered in the building - we were told that the rooms had leakage problems and nobody could stay, and that there would be a refund offered and we would be put somewhere else for the night, however when a few of us decided to see for ourselves, we found other people were asleep on the rooms. One couple whom had stayed the night before found their luggage had all been packed up and moved downstairs. There was no sign of any leakages and we also heard someone cough in the next room, probably worried we would walk in too.||We were moved to another hotel about 10-15 miles away in Perth which the owners did pay for, as well as a taxi there. The owners blamed booking.com for the fiasco, but we can't understand why they'd didn't just tell us that, rather than making up stories.||The place seemed handy - nice central location and right opposite the shuttle bus to T in the Park, but the mess we ended up in was very stressful - each day of the event, we did not know if there would be somewhere for us to sleep.

Ideal Bed and Breakfast - very warm welcome, great location in the middle of Auchterarder Town (very handy for Gleneagles), clean and cosy room and great breakfast. Overall great value. Nice pub over the road called the Niblick

My husband and I booked a room in February to stay here for 3 nights during T in the Park (10th-13th July). ||||Upon arrival we were told our room wasn't ready however they would see to it that our luggage would be in our room when we returned from the festival that evening. When we returned at around midnight we were informed that they didn’t actually have a room for us and we would have to go to Perth or a small town “10 minutes away”. By this time we were exhausted and just wanted a place to sleep so obviously we decided on the closest option. ||||Not only were we placed 17 miles away in Comrie, we also had no way to actually get to T in the Park given that there were no shuttle buses, which we were assured by them there would be when we returned on Friday night after the festival. Had we known this we would have chosen to go to Perth where we at least knew we had a way to get there. The shuttle buses from the closest town, Crieff, left at 10am and 12noon which was irrelevant as we were advised they had to be booked well in advance.|| ||We were left with no choice but to drive to T in the Park and leave our car at a cost of £20 per day only to have to be pushed out of the car park and spend hours trying to get back to Comrie once it finished, and that was with leaving early during the final acts which were the ones we were most excited to see. May I add I only drove my brand new car out of the showroom a few weeks ago so having it parked in a field and almost needing a tractor to pull us out, as you can imagine, was highly irritating. Thankfully we didn’t take my husband’s car as his is rear wheel drive and we would have been seriously stuck, however spending the weekend driving to and from T in the Park was never our agenda. || ||I have no idea what we would have done if we hadn’t drove down as we’re from Aberdeen! || ||Due to this, it was an incredibly dry weekend for my very first T in the Park experience, whilst all our friends were enjoying the atmosphere with a few sociable drinks, I was nursing cups of tea for the remaining 2 days of the festival and surprisingly T in the Park isn’t so much fun when you’re the only sober one. || ||We called it a day on Sunday night even though we had planned to stay until Monday and left halfway through the closing act which was unfortunately the one act my husband really wanted to see however we couldn’t risk another 4 hour wait to get out. We eventually arrived back in Aberdeen at 2am.|| ||We are still unsure of exactly what happened, we were told there was water damage in 3 rooms and then told they were overbooked, all of which makes no odds now, however the sheer fact they had people returning from a festival late at night / early in the morning to no accommodation is beyond me! We weren’t the only ones, there were 2 young girls on their own who were also told they had nowhere to stay! Had they advised us of this when we checked in as they were clearly aware of the situation then, we could have looked into alternative accommodation and sorted it out so it wouldn’t impact on our weekend. || ||As it stands the only good thing about the weekend was the actual festival and we missed a portion of that due to this utter debacle.||||We were written a cheque to cover our deposit we paid in February however this has now bounced, a matter which will be taken further.||||I would not advise anyone to stay here, not only due to their complete incompetence however the fact they also have at least 7 cats (3 cats + 4 kittens) running around. When we arrived one cat was lounging in a pile of clean towels and another was sprawled over the dining table. The cat litter tray is in the kitchen therefore releasing the smell of cat urine straight through the ground floor. As cute as they are it’s completely inappropriate in a B&B!||||An utter sham and complete con artists!
