Great b&b! Friendly hosts stayed in touch throughout our stay, comfy beds and very well thought of rooms, our place was spacious and immaculate. 10 minute walk down the hill into Whitby harbour, and a bus stop just around the corner for a £2 ride into Robins hood bay. Right on top of the Cinder Track for cyclists and walkers. Thank you, we'll be back! 5*

Warm welcome from Donna and our room was lovely, at the front of house on ground floor. Room and bathroom spotless. Free car parking around back of building. We were looked after very well - pastries, juice, water, toiletries etc provided and restocked halfway through our stay. Road noise didn't bother us - not huge amount of traffic at night during our stay. One of the best TVs we've had in our room away on holiday - massive, what a nice change from some of ones you have to squint at from a distance. We love Whitby and first time at the Villa - would come back to stay at Launceston - thank you Donna!

An excellent holiday with my teenage grandson! The stay was comfortable with everything provided in the room. The fridge had milk and we even had some croissants and juice on top of the usual tea/coffee/sugars etc. Very private and close to all the amenities without the noise of town, plus private parking. Donna was a perfect host if we needed anything...thanks for looking after us 🙂 Kim and K

I booked the guesthouse as a birthday present for my partner. Our room was very clean and we appreciated the extras in the room such as orange juice and croissants even though we didn’t consume them. The main issue was that. we ran out of tea, coffee and shower gel very quickly and we were not able to contact the host over the duration of the 3 night stay. We only had one tiny bottle of shower gel to last both of us for 3 days. Whenever i wandered downstairs (at reasonable times) and I did this on numerous occasions no one responded to my knocks and there was never a contact number available. It felt as though the hosts didn’t care and didn’t want to be bothered. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect to rely on the guesthouse toiletries for the duration of the stay. Why provide them for one day if there are none available for the rest of the stay We were not looking for a “hotel” experience, just a cup of tea or coffee would have been nice and the opportunity to not have to use the hand wash as shampoo which I was forced to do on the last morning, it was like paint stripper. There is no point of contact as the guesthouse doesn’t serve breakfast, this is the perfect time to ask guests if they need anything. Not serving the rooms, even if it is to replenish toiletries, tea & coffee and to empty the bin is just plain lazy. Covid finished a long time ago. These issues spoilt our stay and we would not go back.

Lovely double room, very comfortable. Tea coffee biscuits, bowl of pastries. Very clean and smartly decorated.
Donna was very welcoming. Great location 10 minutes walk into Whitby.

Brilliant stay, double room was spacious and very clean & tidy. The coffee, tea facilities are very generous as with milk & orange juice in the room fridge. The shower is spot on , all together it has been a very enjoyable stay. Donna our host was vey welcoming and very helpful, location very close to whitby town but has a steep hill so we decided to drive in to town.
All together a massive 👍well recommended.

This was great find. Peaceful accomodation only a 10min walk down into town with its own off road parking which seems a bonus in Whitby. Room was clean and very comfotable. Really comfortable matress on the bed. Included a fridge in the room. Host Donna supplied complentary milk, water, orange juice and pastries. Ensuite shower room. Would thoroughly recommend a visit and will definately look up again if visiting Whitby.

We booked this last minute as a getaway over the bank holiday. At a very reasonable price for the short notice stay, we weren't expecting miracles.||||When we turned up Donna was there to greet us. We arrived 3 hours earlier than check in and the room was already ready. Parking was available for free when we arrived there. Donna was lovely, very helpful and showed us to the room and told us how to get into the town centre. ||||It was absolutely spotless and down to the last detail on the room facilities you can tell the owners are passionate about looking after the guests! ||||They've thought of everything including earplugs, a fan, a little jug to fill the kettle with when you can get it under the tap, hairdryer, a mini fridge, bottle opener with wine glasses and a working telly! Shower was brill and very clean.||||Comfy bed, big room size and a good nights sleep with ideal location (up a hill but only about a 10 minute walk into the town). ||||Able to get in and out of the building with your own key provided on arrival.||||We will definitely be stopping here again on our Whitby trips 😁 ||||Thank you!
