I love this café, been going here for the past couple of years. The guys are just wonderful. Really friendly and kind and we always have good conversations. Coffee and food is brilliantly made with so much love, appreciate you guys!

Chill with the coffee

Lavatte is well thought out. It has the modern industrial/flora vibe going on in a lounge environment. It prepares the standard array of hot drinks plus some interesting ones like the bounty hot chocolate.
I love the clean fresh feel of the interior. I could easily sit here and let the world pass by as I sip in comfort listening to the melodic tones of the soft lounge music.
The staff are salt of the earth. They are as relaxed and as open as the bar area.
Lavatte is a great place to start, continue, end any day. A place to relax in comfort.

Beautiful little gem in Five Ways with fresh homemade desserts and a great variety of drinks and food. Aesthetically pleasing interiors and really friendly hosts make the experience at this cafe exceptional.

The crepes and mango tango are a must try.
Will definitely go back to try more items!

Im from Iceland and me and my british boyfriend were in Birmingham for the day. I looove coffee and this was the nearest place so I decided to try a latte with oat milk, usually I can taste the poorly steamed oat milk but this coffee exceeded any coffee Ive ever had and people need to have their coffee there! The place was so cute and clean and the staff was so lovely! Will come back in the future!

Great, tasty, healthy food, minutes walk from everywhere near city centre! Great, organic smoothies and fantastic French crepes! I must say these are the best crepes we have tried in Birmingham. The coffee is amazing in all its available varieties. Lower prices in town for the excellent quality of food. Everything is cooked fresh from scratch.
Very friendly staff!
