We booked in prior to my husbands surgery at the nearby hospital. I found the reception very unhelpful no smile to greet us. We asked if they could call us a taxi to take us to the hospital to which we were given a piece of paper and told to use the code and call our own. There had been a wedding fair on and we were informed the roast dinner which is so advertised on their website and Facebook was not on because of this. I can not fault the room, the two queen beds were appreciated, very comfortable and the room very clean. We went down for dinner after travelling we were all starving especially our young son. I don’t think it was the usual restaurant room it was where they had the wedding fair and tables were literally disposed around the bars and very cold room. I must say the waiter was lovely and smiley if he hadn’t been think I would’ve cried as the food was inedible! My sons burger was burnt to a crisp so I had a very hungry boy! I ordered tagliatelle which had been broken up into pieces (maybe running short to save on pasta!) it was smothered in cheddar cheese nog parmigiano and resembled a bowl of slop! I didn’t bother with desert which I had been looking forward to. Our room was in a building across the carpark with a closed bar downstairs, I called reception yo ask for some bottles of water to be informed they do not offer room service and to go to the bar in the main building and get it myself, which I did in yhd freezing cold to bd handed 1 bottle of sparking 2 bottle of still (all that was left) ||After hoping for a relaxed evening with lovely food before my husbands surgery I can’t tell you how disappointed we were. ||Shocking food, miserable and unhelpful receptionists, ok if you just need a nice bed for the night

Visited for a seminar. Parking was fine, difficulty getting out cars parked everywhere.
Location is easy to find and signposted.
Didn't interact with members of staff. Everywhere I went was lovely and clean and tidy.
Lovely large room with comfortable chairs to use.

Great hotel, I've stayed all over the world with work and this is the best hotel I've stayed at for the price . The rooms for the price are unbelievably cheap. Only had breakfast once, so can't speak for other items but what I had was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful, highly recommended

The staff were friendly and there was plenty of parking spaces. The lobby was a nice wel one surprise and stood the hotel away from the usual, drab welcome.
The rooms were large, spacious and inviting, and as you can see in the picture, e even after having slept all night, it was large enough to enjoy. The bathroom was also nice, although could be better lit in my opinion, but all in all, a lovely stay, and I would definitely recommend.
Whilst I didn't eat at the hotel, the menu looked nice, and judging by the rooms, I would imagine that the food would also have been excellent.

I recently celebrated my. 60th birthday with a party at Lazaat Hotel. The planning was seamless from start to finish. The staff were very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. We had the party in the Monsoon suite and the staff helped my family set up the room as we wanted it. The hot buffet food was excellent, with great choice. We and several family members stayed overnight, rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was lovely, with a great selection of hot and cold food.

I stayed for one night at the hotel for a wedding. The hotel is very nice, set in pleasant grounds with plenty of parking. My room was spacious, extremely clean and very nicely furnished…the bed…oh wow! The food was really good, especially the breakfast. The only thing that let it down for me was that the staff on reception and in the dining room were quite discourteous bordering on abrupt and rude. Example, when someone asked for more hot water at breakfast, the rather snappy reply was ‘ Yes, it’s being sorted’. Other guests in my party commented on the same issue. More warmth, courtesy and remembering that staff are speaking to people who have spent their hard earned money to be there would have made my review a five star. When I lost my room key, I asked the receptionist for assistance and was told there was only once key to the room (!) And I would have to pay £22 for a copy to be made if the key could not found (how could they make a copy of a key if they only had one key?) The receptionist’s attitude made me feel though I was a nuisance and as though I was putting her out. She was not at all helpful. No matter how good the facilities are, customer service is king…someone needs to do some training with staff, or set the right culture and attitude.

Amazing place the room was massive and very clean. Had a works do there Friday night I had my concerns over contamination with food with been a coeliac (as most coeliacs probably would) but had no issues whatsoever and the food was 10/10. Following morning went down for breakfast and I noticed the bacon and regular sausages were together I asked a member of staff if I could have some gluten free sausages and some freshly cooked bacon and it was no problem to the chef or staff would defiantly recommend

We arrived around 4pm to check in and meet other friends and family prior to a 60th birthday party that evening. We checked in and went into reception to find the bar! No bar facility, no lounge area for coffee NOTHING was told to go to room and call room service!|Room was cold and didn't get warm throughout our stay. room for 2 people who had to stay in room as hotel had no facilities to eat or drink. Only 3 teabags! Shower was hot and worked fine but for 2 people to shower before going to 60th party then shower in the morning provided 1 x single use shower gel and 1 x single use shampoo. No wardrobe for clothes! just 2 hooks on the wall! Other point worth noting that desk where wife can get made up and do her hair had a mirror high up on the wall so had to remove mirror, bed not very comfortable. Breakfast next morning was not great. A real shame as we've attended this hotel for Sunday lunch many times and always very nice, but not sure we'd stay over again
