Stayed here recently for a long weekend in spring.

The pros are that it’s a lovely location close to the beach, the view (if you have one) is very nice, the family room is an excellent size, and the overall hotel feel is very cozy and traditional.

The cons are that the hotel could clearly do with a little investment, I have to say many of the staff are not that friendly, the breakfast and dinner is quite average, the snooker room is permanently closed following flood damage last year (this actually made a difference to our stay as we were really looking forward to using the snooker table) and the sole bar in the hotel is poorly manned; there is a 90% chance if you go to the bar in the evening that there will be nobody manning it and you will have to wait a good 5 minutes until someone shows up.

We held our wedding at the Le Strange Arms Hotel last Saturday. From the very first meeting Tanya was so helpful and reassuring. On our special day we were blessed with sunshine, which only enhanced the already beautiful setting and location. All the staff were amazing, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding breakfast was held in the Palace Suite, we had a 3 course sit down menu and the food was gorgeous. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meal and how well they'd been looked after. If you are thinking of getting married there, don't hesitate, you really won't be disappointed. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights of a B&B basis in a sea view room. The room had an excellent view and was very clean and comfortable. The consumables were replenished daily with fresh milk and we were very pleased with the room. The general decoration was in good order. The location of the hotel is excellent to access the beach. Breakfast was enjoyable but service a little disjointed. All staff were friendly and helpful so didn't bother us. Overall a very enjoyable stay

Dog friendly beach- the whole area is very dog friendly. |Public car park with toilets. ||A lovely beach cafe (DF) opposite the RNLI station & shop- friendly & informative volunteers on hand to educate on their work and the local|area.|Surprisingly large Arts & antiques centre (DF) - it’s huge inside! Lovely place displaying local artist work.||Waking distance to the Hunstanton Golf course next door ⛳️|Many interesting places and lovely beaches to visit within a short driving distance. |Would highly recommend, the lodge was ideal for holidaying with 2 teenagers as everyone had their own space. |The local area has something for everyone, ||Thank you Le Strange for a wonderful family break in this “hidden gem” 🐚|We’ll definitely be back 🩵|🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The pizza place is lovely, great customer service, friendly and Kate, Nikki and Eric were amazing when asked about topping on other pizza and whe my pizza was taking away from the table they offered a whole new one. 5 stare to this amazing staff. Just wish that the staff at the bar would be as quick and friendly

Stayed in a dog friendly room (with a small dog), room was great but coffee machine didn’t work and there is a lack of outside secure space that you could let your dog out in the middle of the night. I’m not asking for much but it is possible to put a fence/barrier up in order not to have to put dogs on the lead etc (minimal space agreed, but that’s all you need). Would stay happily again though, great location, just needs a few tweaks.

A good quality and pleasingly individual hotel in an enviable location. My three night stay was very relaxing and comfortable. The room with seaview was warm and pleasant. It had everything I needed for a winter escape! Helpful and warm staff throughout the hotel. Hotel bar perfect for a quality beer or wine. Breakfast was generally very good with a five star full English. Plenty of choice and all good quality options. I look forward to a return visit.

We took advantage of an offer and stayed here in January. The hotel and Old Hunstanton are very nice. We were in one of the more modern rooms on the ground floor and were very happy with it. The evening meal and breakfasts were good and atmosphere was nice.

I'd highly recommend coming here even in the winter months as the scenery and local area are lovely.
