I would not recommend booking the hot tub or staying in the green cargo pod. We were really excited about our trip to Lee Wick Farm and even paid extra for the hot tub to have a nice, relaxing weekend. However, the hot tub takes approximately 4-5 hours to heat up, so be prepared for it to take up a significant part of your day. Once it was heated, we were shocked by the number of woodlice in it… we ended up not using it at all, which was very disappointing considering it cost £90.
When we tried emailing afterwards, we received no response whatsoever. On top of this, the cargo pod and hot tub were surrounded by flies, which were also getting into the cargo pod—it was an absolute nightmare to get rid of them. Overall, we do not recommend staying here.

I have also gone back to read further reviews of Lee Wick Farm, and I must say I am shocked. So many people have commented on the presence of woodlice, and I feel rather silly for not taking those concerns seriously. The responses from Lee Wick Farm are incredibly rude and dismissive, especially given that the feedback is accurate.
We went into the hot tub on Saturday evening, and the instructions inside the cargo pod clearly stated, “WE WON’T HELP YOU HEAT the tub,” which comes across as an incredibly uninviting and unfriendly way to inform guests about contacting a maintenance person if there is a problem—let alone addressing issues like woodlice. I initially thought their unresponsiveness to emails might have been a simple oversight, but it appears this is a pattern. Customer feedback should be reviewed more carefully rather than met with mean-spirited responses.

Great accommodation, we stayed with two kids (4&7) everything you need for a couple of days away. We stayed in a lushna which were set back from the rest of the farm, great views and very quiet. We didn’t use the hot tub as it’s not our kind of thing. The BBQ was a really good size to cook on. ||We used the log burner which was good but placed in a bit of an odd place so difficult to sit next to on a picnic bench, if coming again I’d put in a couple of camping chairs. ||But was really well insulated and warm at night. Hot water in the shower was great. Lots of bins & recycling facilities, would have been great to see food waste bin. ||We did have a couple of reservations - We would take a washing up bowl or bucket if going again. We didn’t like the idea of washing up in the bathroom sink were we washing our hands after going to the loo. We wouldn’t do this in a campsite. We washed up in the outside sink which meant lots of trips back & forth with kettles of warm water. There also isn’t anywhere to put dirty dishes awaiting washing, so a washing up bowl or bucket would be good. ||The bunk bed ladder rings are spaced very far apart, so the kids on the ladder required supervision when coming down and struggled to do this independently. Anyone with young kids might want to pack some plastic or metal plates too.||The bathroom door has a big gap in it when closed so if the weather is not great & the whole family are inside together there is no privacy when going to the loo. There are no communal loos for those wanting privacy!||The outside area stated no ball games which we hadn’t noticed before booking. ||Local village was great, we had fish & chips one evening & the local shop is well stocked. We’d like to come back & explore more of the area.

I am very disappointed with the facilities and customer service from Lee Wick Farm.

We stayed in the green cargo pod last weekend, and at first glance it seemed lovely. We paid £90 extra for a hot tub, which took 5 hours to heat up as they are all wood fired.

We wasted the majority of the day trying to get the water hot, and by the time we went to get in we were horrified by what we found.

The hot tub was INFESTED WITH WOOD LICE! Every little crevices around the wall of the tub was crawling with wood lice, as you can see in the attached photo. Even the wood seat and the floor of the hot tub which was submerged in water was crawling with wood lice.

There were lots of dead wood lice floating at the surface of the water which I managed to fish out, but there were still hundreds of them alive in the water itself so we could not use it.

My partner emailed Lee Wick Farm asking if they could refund the £90 for the unusable hot tub, and they didn’t even bother to reply. I can see that other people have also complained about this in the reviews, but they clearly do not care about customer satisfaction.

The cargo pod was also riddled with blue bottle flies, to the extent it was like being sat next to bins. There is clearly something attracting them, and cleaning issues are not being addressed.

Unfriendly and dismissive staff.

AVIOD!

What a find! We were visiting family for a couple of days and Lee wick was ideal. We stayed in a Lushna Lux and it was amazing. The cabin had everything we needed. We brought our bedding and towels although you can pay extra for them to provide. It was spotlessly clean and nicely presented. The view is to die for and we actually slept with the curtains open so we woke up to see the sea. The communications before hand had clear instructions about what to expect and how to use things etc. It was so peaceful and ideal for a short break. Thoroughly recommend.

Had such a lovely stay in the Lushna cabin this weekend! Was so lovely and quiet but only a short drive to some great takeaways and pubs. The cabin had everything you could ever need and was very well set up. Would definitely recommend!

I tried contacting Lee Wick regarding availability of a touring pitch. Being a member of the Caravan & Camping Club I first tried calling the mobile number listed. It went straight to voicemail and advised not to leave a message but to book via their website. I did as advised and tried booking via their availability calendar. That didn't work so I then used their contact form and provided details of my requirement. I completed their basic check that I was a human and it just reloaded with a different sum to check I was a human again. I did this 3 or 4 times with no acknowledgement of my request.||Consequently I resorted to their landline. It went straight to voicemail and again advised to go to their website. However it then offered the option of leaving a message. I did so and explained my requirement and left my number. Despite this I received no response. Very disappointing!||My review purely relates to their poor communication. If you're going to point customers to a website it needs to work. ||Needless to say I won't be contacting them again.

We had an amazing time in one of the Luchnar pods. The pod was set up with everything we could possibly need and the beds were very comfy. The South-facing view was stunning -- you could see all the way across marshes and sea to Kent! The wood fired hot tub was very easy and quick to fire up. The parking and trolley system was great and it was so nice not to have any cars about. I went for a lovely walk along the coast and into Point Clear. It was interesting to see all the smacks in the water and there was a lot of wildlife including muntjac, waders, dragon flies and a friendly Robin. I think I enjoyed the privacy most, our little palace for the weekend.

Another perfect weekend away in the Cart lodge for a group of us. This place is always spotless and the team are spot on with the amount of communication.
The location is remote enough to not be bothered by noise but close enough to a shop or the village. Waking up to the rooster and horses is priceless.
