My friend and I stayed with Paddy in the beautiful Apple Store apartment. The one bed apartment has been finished to a beautiful standard with a standalone bath, his an hers sinks in a large bathroom and a well stocked kitchen. The bed is wonderfully soft. Paddy could not be any more welcoming and serves a delicious continental breakfast (including fresh croissants) every morning. There was also a delicious homemade lemon sponge waiting for us on arrival. The location is beautiful, and it is the perfect spot to stay if exploring the Forest of Dean. You are in for a real treat when you stay.

Legg Barn is a beautiful, peaceful relaxing place to stay. Incredibly comfy bed, great decor, wonderful breakfast, gabulous garden and easy parking. It was spot on for our weekend away visiting local friends. Paddy and Ted, plus Bill the dog and Henry the cat, all gave us a warm welcome. With the beautiful Forest of Dean on the door step, I'd highly recommend. We only needed a room for the weekend, but their self-contained Annexe would make an excellent base for a longer break.

We stayed for a weekend to get ready there for my wedding which was nearby. Paddy and Ted got stuck right In and couldn’t do enough to help me on my wedding morning, Ted even got the ladders out to take a beautiful picture of my dress! Paddy cooked us enough food to feed the 5000, which was all amazing! Their home is amazing, spotless, the rooms are beautiful. They had no problem with our hair & makeup artists coming in, Aswell as a photographer! Paddy even offered them teas and coffees. We then stayed here on my wedding night and paddy made us a beautiful breakfast the next morning. They went above & beyond for us and we’d love to stay again some day!

What a property to stay in! Fantastic comfort cleanliness friendliness|The breakfast was superb ! Hosted by Paddy and Ted Nothing was too much trouble with a welcoming cuppa and cake on arrival We we’re directed to a local chippy takeaway on our lateish arrival two minutes walk away soo delicious and eaten at the lovely dining table was just the treat we needed Just a few minutes from a pub as well so we were able to enjoy our evening a little bit longer Well done to our hosts

What a wonderful B & B, highly recommended. Hosts Paddy and Ted couldn't do enough for us during our stay. We had a local wedding and they took us to the venue and collected us very late. Beautiful setting, gorgeous gardens, lovely room and a fabulous breakfast. Thank you Paddy and Ted for making us feel so welcome.

We stayed in Legg Barn for a wedding nearby. Ted and Paddy (and the dog Bill!) were the best hosts, greeting us warmly on arrival with tea & fresh brownies, providing spotless and comfy rooms, and prepared 2 fantastic breakfasts for us for the two mornings we were there. They then went the extra mile to transport us to and from the wedding venue. Would highly recommend this beautiful home in the country

Absolutely beautiful location. Our room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable with quality bed linen etc., breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Afternoon tea and home made cakes in the afternoon at no extra charge! Ted and Paddy couldn't have been better hosts. Their dog, Bill, is adorable. The extensive gardens are filled with beautiful plants and really lovely trees. They have a gorgeous home and we felt lucky to be staying there, wish it had been for longer! Just one observation, could easily charge more for this standard of accommodation and quality.

We have just returned from Legg Barn, where we stayed for a week. The house is absolutely stunning: clean and comfortable; and having a courtyard is a real treat too: we have spent a few summer evenings sitting outside. Both Paddy and Ted are great hosts, with lots of tips on what to do in the area, their breakfast is divine too! Our dog Stanley has really enjoyed meeting Bill, the owners's gentle collie. Thank you for such a relaxing break.
