LEGOLAND Resort Hotel - Windsor

Spent 3 days în Legoland with my girls last week, we really enjoyed it. The weather was very nice, the staff was very kind and professional, the queues for the rides/activities were 5-15 min in general, except for Mythica which was almost an hour. We were there last week, during UK school term, so it wasn’t extremely busy.
The Legoland Hotel is great, was happy there was a shop, where I needed go buy a phone charger after it was closed, and the reception helped with that. We have enjoyed the swimming pool. The Lego play room amazing, my kids loved it, and I loved it had a bar 🙂
Special thanks to Laura from the reception, she was so professional, helpful and friendly, we ended up taking selfies with her, my kids really liked her, and we hope to meet her again there, she has people skills and can make people feel special, and the conversation was more than the usual how are you and lovely weather…

We had buffet dinner once in the main restaurant, and the food was ok, not amazing, but plenty of choice and healthy options. My kids loved making their own ice team.
We had lunch in the sky bistro and the pizza and burger was not ok, I can only recommend the fries. The only service that wasn’t great, was in the Sky bistro, on the 23rd April, between 12-1 pm, we told the waiter the pizza was still raw, he told another waiter, maybe colleague or supervisor, and none of them said anything, they just removed the plate and left, it was already paid, or I wouldn’t have paid for the pizza - and I’m the kind of person who can eat anything.
And we’ve ordered uber eats.
I also recommend getting the uber and not the taxi, which seems to be approx 30% more than uber.
There were 2 other young ladies who worked in the breakfast restaurant and swimming pool reception, can’t remember their names, I think one of them was Emily.

We really enjoyed the unique style of the rooms—each one had its own character and charm. A thoughtful touch was the small guest game prepared for kids, which ended with a fun LEGO prize. It made our stay feel extra family-friendly.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. However, the hotel restaurants were a bit of a letdown and didn’t meet the same high standard as the rest of the stay. Still, a great choice for families looking for something a little different.

A hotel that tries to be like a Disney hotel but done so on a very low budget.

The staff are pleasant enough but quite simply there aren’t enough of them. A sign of the times I suppose where working in hospitality isn’t a first choice for many people.

The catering was, to put it mildly, AWFUL!! Not the person behind the counter’s fault, just that the young lad was on his own having to refill many dishes with hoards of people wanting food. The result was not many choices to choose from. For adults at £28/head it was extortionate. To cap it all the young lad and a manager were arguing openly in the food service area.

Bar service was slow and erratic, i.e. ordered drinks were served at the table up to 10 minutes apart.

Used tables took an age to be cleared.

All in all, for the prices paid don’t expect a great experience.

Fantastic place to visit. Lots going on, the staff are very helpful. Rides and activities suitable for different ages. Miniland is a must see, the detail is superb

Amazing for any lego fan. Stayed at Castle hotel, Pirate room. Kids loved the treasure map to open chest, restaurant was buffet with small selection of food but varied enough. Park is amazing, the Mythical ride Flight of the Sky-lion is a must.

We have been to legoland many times with the children and stayed at the resorts a few times and it has always been great. However this time, a few things let us down. The first thing is that no matter what we did, we couldn't get any phone signal, even though we connected to the WiFi, so therefore we were unable to use our phones for most of the time we were at the resort. The second thing that let us down was the lack of cleanliness at the bricks breakfast. The coffee mugs were all filthy, covered in black stains, some had bugs in them and dust. The juice glasses were all sticky and there was some dirty ones put back amongst the clean ones. This really put us off our food and to be honest not sure if I'd want to stay at the resort hotel again due to this. Also maintenance was still being carried out at the entrance of hotel so kids were unable to see the dragon which was a shame, wish this could have been completed during winter maintenance. We did however have a great time at the park and our room was nice and clean. Also Staff at the reception of hotel were very helpful and friendly. Kids had a great time.

Not bad at all. Right next to park. Breakfast excellent, dinner rather odd in menu. A mix of all regions but master of none. Not really catered for kids as most dusted or made spicy.
Probably better if they did less better.

Would not recommend ANYONE to come here. Absolutely NOT worth nearly £1000. First thing I want to pinpoint is that the hotel does not allow drop off, meaning you have to drag your luggages all the way from the carpark to the resort itself.

Secondly, I want to complain about the inconvenience the lift caused us, throughout the entire stay, one of the two lifts had been under maintenance, causing a HUGE problem for parents with strollers, people with luggages, and all the things you can list. On top of that, the other lift took ages to come to our levels, and I had observed many people result to taking to stairs.

THIRDLY, i would like to complain about an individual that has caused us great inconvenience by their miscommunication. Me and my family wanted to switch to the nearby hotel, in the morning my mother told me that one of the female staff had informed us that the hotel beside us had available slots for us to stay. But in the afternoon when we arrived there, the front desk worker at the other hotel had told us that there was no room available for us. My family had to carry 4 heavy luggages additionally to a lot bags back and forth just because that staff had misinformed us. If she had apologized to us sincerely, I would have NEVER made this post. Alongside with the inconveniencES this hotel caused for me, there were no additional things for us, despite paying nearly £1000 for this pathetic hotel, and being treated that way. (My mother was received a half assed apology from the front desk staff and now she cant even show her face to me and my family.) Overall i had a shitty, HORRIBLE experience, I can definitely say for sure that this hotel is NOT worth the money

*Furthermore, after we left for hotel they forgot to clean our toilet. And they only gave us bathroom mats when we asked for towels

Very troublesome altogether. But aside from that the other lady at the front desk who served us was nice and friendly, the hotel interior isnt that bad, the food at the hotel is not that bad too
