Do not use this company as your wedding caterer if you are after a tailored stress-free service.
On our wedding day we had no idea who our event manager was, it certainly wasn't who we'd been repeatedly promised. No one from Leon catering came up to either bride or groom or parents on our wedding day to check all was ok.
Communication was poor from Nic especially, 4+ weeks would go by without responses, despite email & phonecall chasers. Despite calling a number of times on the morning of our wedding to check something, I received no response. No response or comfort was provided at any point during the day. The only stresses I had on the morning of my wedding day were due to Leon catering.
Many of our specific requests were completely ignored, do not be fooled by promises over the phone. Eg we were told a plate of canapes would be kept on the side for us whilst we were having photos, but this didn't happen and we didn't get any canapes. We asked for bread rolls to be provided with a cheese tower in the evening, it was specified in the event sheet, but it was ignored. They said they would serve drinks and manage the bar, but didn't provide most of the drinks on offer. The groom had to tell the staff to get the beer out, despite Nic being shown where the drinks were and what to offer the day before. One of the catering staff asked an usher for a chopping board and knives – what professional catering company doesn’t provide their own chopping board and knives? We were assured they were providing all catering equipment, as it was a marquee wedding.
We were assured that they would be able to take delivery of ice in the morning to cool the drinks. No one from Leon catering was here in the morning, most of the drinks were not chilled in time for guests to arrive and to make things worse, the catering staff were so late they started to arrive as we were leaving for the wedding ceremony and caused a blockage making us late to the church.
Many other issues which highlight that this is not a high quality wedding catering company (eg glasses laid on the left hand side), so please be aware before you choose this company for your wedding, and don't expect a tailored service. The saving grace for the 2 stars is that the food was good and guests got their food on time which we were grateful for.

Nic and his catering team did a fantastic job for our wedding this September gone. Nic is very well organised and guided us the right way to setting up our perfect wedding day. We chose to have a barbecue as we had an outdoor festival themed wedding and the food was excellent! Many of our guests complimented the food! The team did a stirling job serving our guests drinks and canopes as they arrived at the reception. Sadly our table plans were not to hand during the setup, however our guests did a good job finding their seats and Nic & Co were very thoughtful and charming in serving the rush of hungry people! The team went out of their way to ensure everything was running perfectly on our special day and nothing was of any trouble for them. If you are looking for professional catering for whatever event you may have planned, rest assured you can leave the day in the capable hands of Nic and his team and not have to worry! 10/10 guys! Thank you.

This was the second time that we have used Leon catering. They supplied a fantastic meal, service second to non, for Camelot Rugby Club Centenary Ball. They catered for 460 sit down four course meal. All the staff were attentive and professional. I would certainly use them again .
