Very welcoming and helpful staff. Room was very clen and well kept. Despite it being a conferenced centre & having its own gym, it was very quiet, which was great. Also has it’s own bar / restaurant but I didn’t use them on this occasion||Onsite car parking is good but only limited spots, so if you took your car out, you ran the risk of not having a place when you returned. I had a Blue badge but there were only a couple of designated spots

I stayed at this hotel on a half board basis overnight stay. The check in was fast and my room was lovely. I enjoyed a good night's sleep as the room was just the right temperature and the bed was very comfortable. I also enjoyed the free Wi Fi. There was plenty of tea and coffee sachets provided and the room was very clean. The bathroom was well furnished. All the staff were nice and friendly and helpful.

So I don't especially enjoy travelling for work these days, and with the send off from colleagues about the 'delights' of Middlesbrough I'll be honest, I wasn't really looking forward to my trip. However in large part to the Leonardo, but also the good folk of the town, I left with my spirits raised and a really positive impression. ||First the hotel, for what they charged me it was brilliant. Food was stand out, far better than I'd expected, ate in the restaurant one evening and was really impressed. Staff were genuine and friendly and really made me feel not only welcome, but at home. Thanks. A couple of colleagues had the odd moment with reception, but hey we all have a bad day, and I'm sure reception is a tough job. ||Room was absolutely fine, comfy bed, clean and spacious. Slept really well, unusual for me when travelling. Parking excellent, no drama, really convenient. ||I know I'm probably wearing Rose tinted specs a bit, and I know Middlesbrough does have its problems (hopefully the change of govt will actually take more of an interest), but in sum I'd like to thank the Leonardo and the folk I met out and about for restoring my faith a little, and would jump at the chance for an invite back.

I was very impressed by this hotel when I spent three weeks there. Central to Middlesbrough Town Centre and the staff were very friendly. Clean comfortable (especially the beds) and the gym was functional and kept me fit for the three weeks. Bar/restaurant had a good selection of food on the menu and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Restaurant staff Chelsea made me feel at home and very quickly knew my favourites on the menu always serving with a smile. Her colleague Reece was equally as friendly and served my wine with a friendly smile making it a joy to come down to the restaurant for dinner.|Thanks for a great stay.

On arrival it looked lovely walking in. Then, we knew we couldn't check in till 3, so the spa was used. Hmmmmmm. Dated and disappointed. 4 lounges, steam room you can touch either end and 1 shower for everyone. But.... It got a lot better. Package was 120 for 2. Included room, bottle of fizz, light lunch and brekky. It was worth it without the spa. Light lunch unreal, fizz yes and brekky good as owt. Room was clean, quiet and spacious. Staff great.

From the very friendly welcome we received upon check in, to the friendly and efficient service from the bar and housekeeping staff - we were certainly impressed. ||Situated in Middlesbrough town centre with ample free parking, a five minute walk would take you into the town centre.||The hotel was clean and tidy and also had a leisure centre which we did not have time to use.||We had a standard double on the 7th floor which was warm and comfortable. We also appreciated the free two small bottles of water.||We were attending an evening event - have to pay tribute to the mist gorgeous sticky toffee pudding ever πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹||Also Chelsea on the bar was excellent !!||Would definitely return if we had another event locally.
