Best hotel I hotel I have ever been to. I can honestly say I felt like home here to hospitality and how warm the rooms were, and just how friendly in general and clean would deafly recommend

Most of the advertised features were unavailable. No TV, no fireplace, no coffee maker, no parking, raised it with the manager- he said they were broken, but there wasn't even a TV in the room. The shower wouldn't get hot. The bed was nice and firm, the wifi was good.

We stayed at Lincoln house briefly, booked late by phone and arrived even later. Owners were really accommodating and stayed up to welcome us and check us in. Beds were comfortable with plump pillows and heavy duvets. En suite bathroom was really clean with a powerful shower.
The complimentary soaps/tea/coffee/biscuits were a nice touch and made us feel welcome.
We left at first light so didn’t have much time to experience more but we got what we needed- a pleasant welcome, comfortable nights sleep and a nice cuppa in the morning before we left ?

Lincoln House Bournemouth was booked through Booking.com for 25-27May23. On arrival on 25May, the room we were shown was dirty, poor quality and had electrical work unfinished. We deemed unsafe and unacceptable, and certainly not as advertised / reviewed on Booking.com. We left, telling the lady the room was unacceptable, which she didn't appear surprised at, stating we need to contact Booking.com to cancel. We did cancel the room within the hour on Booking.com. After trying to address this with both Booking.com and the hotel, I was told that the hotel would adhere to their cancellation policy. Unfortunately I have since found out that the Hotel had stated that we had not shown up and claimed all the hotel cost. Booking.com, after repeatedly failing to be able to contact the hotel, accepted that I did not show up, even though I cancelled the room stating the reason why. ||As a result of falsifying data, Lincoln House has taken / stolen our money.

Very accommodating. I turned up at midnight having only booked a room shortly before. No dramas I was well looked after. Room had everything i needed and was clean

Beware, the caretaker is a cheat!
He changed the price of the room on the booking website, multiplying it by 2, after we called to book a room at 11pm. He then offered a small discount if we paid cash. He didn't take cards anyway... He was ready to throw us out with our 3 sleeping children if we didn't pay right away. I hope the owners read this review, their nice house is not treated in a hospitable way...

The old house has its own atmosphere. Clean, quiet, polite and helpful owners. Good location 4 minutes by car to shops or restaurants, 8 minutes to the beach.

Lincoln House is nothing what it looks like in the photos advertised on Booking.com. This hotel is like something out of the Adams family. We were met by I presume the owner, in dirty jogging bottoms. The outside has piles of rubbish. The reception area was cluttered. The carpet on stairs and landing was filthy leading to our room. The room had wood cladding on all the walls. A bed was pushed up against a fire. Broken taps in shower. A massive black spider fell out of the tap when turned on. Balcony felt unsafe when walking on it. Patio door to balcony could not be locked. We left within 10 minutes of arriving and neither booking.com or Lincoln House will give us a refund. Reviews are all lies. It is not suitable for families. If I do t get a refund I am contacting environmental health. It is appalling.
