Our little haven never fails us. We had beautiful weather which is always the icing on the cake. The Arches is a well equipped and comfortable place to stay. So much so this was our third visit. The views across the fields are stunning from the window seat. The hot tub and sauna are an added bonus after a day’s walking nd the sheep are extremely entertaining.
We would definitely recommend a stay if your considering it.
Thank you Lindores ☺️

We stayed at Lindores and hired The Hide for a milestone birthday celebration and it was really special. The views from The Hide were stunning and the atmosphere in The Hide perfect for a special celebration. Katy and Anna were super helpful in organising our stay and booking. We could not have asked for more. Thank you.

Imagine escaping the bluster to a cosy cottage nestled amongst rolling hills. A crackling fire warms the stone walls, while the scent of a hearty Shepherds Pie fills the air. Outside, a hot tub awaits, offering a blissful respite from the cold.
Welcome to The Arches, Lindores Farm - here, you can rediscover tranquillity, reconnect with nature, and find solace in the simple pleasures of life – a good book, a steaming mug of hot chocolate, and the gentle rhythm of the Scottish countryside.
The Arches is truly a place to indulge in a luxurious escape. The cottage is self-catering, boasting a state-of-the-art kitchen complete with all the modern conveniences. From high-end appliances like an induction hob and integrated dishwasher to top-of-the-line cookware and a stylish dining area, this culinary haven is perfect for aspiring chefs and discerning foodies alike. Whether you're whipping up a gourmet feast for the two of you or simply enjoying a leisurely breakfast, the kitchen is designed to enhance your stay and make you feel right at home. Of course you can opt to not cook, and choose the SupperBox which is a three course meal box, ready for you just to pop in the oven OR you can opt for an Online Food Shop to be delivered to your cottage each day.
The Arches at Lindores boasts stunning interiors that seamlessly blend rustic charm with contemporary elegance. Large windows frame exquisite Scottish landscapes, and I particularly enjoyed the cosy window seat in the lounge, perfect for observing the amusing antics of grouse. The lounge area is the ideal space to relax and unwind, featuring plush seating and a cosy wood-burning stove/fireplace, perfect for curling up with a good book.
However, it was the hot tub and sauna that truly stole the show. The mid-December air was bitterly cold, with temperatures hovering around freezing. Yet, the alluring mist rising from the hot tub proved irresistible, and we couldn't resist a dip.
Upstairs, The Arches truly shines. The master suite bedroom, featuring a luxurious super king-sized bed, seamlessly transitions into a private spa sanctuary. This lavish space boasts a spacious freestanding bath, perfect for long, indulgent soaks. A charming Scandinavian-inspired sauna, ideal for couples, adds another layer of relaxation. Completing this haven of tranquillity are a twin shower and underfloor heating, ensuring ultimate comfort and a truly unforgettable experience. At The Arches, relaxation is paramount, and every detail has been meticulously considered to melt away your worries and leave you feeling rejuvenated.
A noteworthy detail is the glass screen separating the bath and shower, intricately etched with a depiction of the surrounding Lindores landscape. This artistic touch adds a unique and captivating element to the space.
Further enhancing the luxurious experience are thoughtful details such as mood lighting, a Bluetooth sound system, plush white towels, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Lindores Farm offers a unique balance of activity and tranquility. While opportunities abound – from farm tours and hunting to whisky tasting, BBQs at the "Hide," and equestrian activities (all easily arranged through the farm) – relaxation is equally encouraged. Explore nearby St Andrews or Dundee (both within a 30-minute drive).
However, if your sole purpose is a luxurious escape and pure pampering, Lindores is unparalleled. The Arches provide unparalleled privacy and seclusion, despite the presence of two neighbouring lodges. You'll feel worlds away from the rest of the world. Between the sauna, the hot tub, the indulgent bath, the crackling wood-burning stove, and an abundance of cosy seating areas, simply unwinding and savouring the tranquillity becomes the most effortless and enjoyable activity of all.
5* all the way!

Me and my family have been to Lindores estate twice now. Our first time we stayed in West Cottage which was a lovely property and had been very well designed. We couldn’t fault the place.
Second time (Last week) we stayed in Lindores Lodge, the property provided stunning views and a nice design for family’s with kids. We also met the owner Anna who is a lovely and very welcoming host. We had a fantastic week and enjoyed our time but there are a few problems with the property.
For me the property, certainly on the inside is looking a bit tired and needing some upgrading. The front door would not open sometimes due to a jammed lock, so we had to use the side door through the living room which was annnoying. The property was not the cleanest and could do with providing a better hoover. The hot tub is a great size but definitely not warm enough.
For the price we paid I would be very unlikely to visit Lindores Lodge again. We have paid similar prices for other properties which I think offer better value for money.

Stayed at the West Cottage mid October 2024. House was excellent, well designed, great outdoor space, and countryside views. Couldn't really ask for much more. Had stayed at the Glasshouse previously and this was just as good. Would absolutely recommend.

We had a wonderful holiday staying at Lindores. Accommodation in the West Cottage was absolutely superb. Beautifully finished, spotlessly clean 2 bedroom cottage with excellent utilities for self catering and a large hot tub. They have a very large secure garden area for our two labs to enjoy and a lovely seated balcony area to enjoy the views. Great base to explore the many doggy adventures on your doorstep and the most amazing luxurious spot to relax and take in the stunning views from the cottage as you swap the muddy boots for cosy slippers and sleepy woofs 💤. Great communication from Anna throughout. We loved the welcome gifts and the all the information provided to help us plan our week. Five stars, absolutely perfect 👍

Stayed in the Glasshouse for an amazing and relaxing week. We had gorgeous views to admire and were welcome with fresh flowers and wine. The hottub was absolutely wonderful to use in the winter, and the two large bathtubs (situated with a great view) were wonderful. The kitchen was so spacious and well equipped and allowed us to have meals cooked. If you fancy dining out, there are so many great options that offer beautiful short drives to find. I could barely decide which one of their accomodation to stay at, so we will have to be back again! Easily one of the best places I've stayed at, very tranquil, and I saw lots of wildlife, deer, variety of birds, rabbits and pheasants numerous times throughout the day. I only wish I stayed longer! Anna was so immensely helpful during our stay and is an exceptional host.

I had a fabulous time at Lindores Lodge, with my wife Gillian, and youngest daughter Olivia, and my Cousin and girlfriend. It was our 5th time we have visited in 8 years, It's the most perfect country retreat with lovely farmland and 360 degree views, and so lovely that you can walk round it on a circular walk. The hosts Richard and Anna and the whole team are so helpful and the attention to detail is second to none. The rooms are immaculate and have everything you need , the Hot tub is amazing and a lovely enclosed garden with fantastic views. The Hide experience is well worth hiring and we had a fantastic family celebration up there one afternoon, many thanks to Katy and Anna for organising this. We had some great days out also, The Tentsmuir beach, St. Andrews, Elie, Anstruther are all worth visiting , Also Dundee is great to visit with the V & A museum and the Discovery ship. I Really really can't fault Lindores, many Thanks to everyone at Lindores and we'll be back again soon
