Stayed overnight in en-suite block which is like a short terrace of wooden chalets. Clean and comfortable with TV and drink making facilities. Breakfast was served at table and was good. The location is a riding stables alongside a busy main road but rooms are on the far side of a large riding rink. There can be slight traffic noise but I found it acceptable. The gardens are lovely and extensive. Plenty of parking space. There are also rooms in the main house but I did not see them. Friendly staff. Entrance to the premises is through a five bar wooden gate and up a driveway. I would use again.

I booked this B&B through Laterooms for me and my boyfriend based on what appeared to be great value for money through the description and pictures online. Oh how very wrong I was! I booked a double with en suite but received a phone call the following day to let us know there was an overbooking and the room available to me was a double with a shared bathroom. This was absolutely fine by me and I still accepted the room. We arrived and were shown to our room which was in the main house. It was awful. There was a very potent musty, dirty smell that lingered in the room. The mat/carpet on the floor looked as though it had been there since the 1980’s and was so worn and smelly. I sat on the bed and it was lumpy, very uncomfortable and made a crunching clunky noise from the springs. The shared bathroom had hair over the bath, a fluffy bath mat draped over the side that was so dirty and discoloured, it felt very unhygienic. Tea and coffee had to be made in the main kitchen which I found very odd and uncomfortable. There was a little dog owned by the lady which is great! But I was told not to stroke her otherwise she would pee on the floor. This dog also made a few visits into our room which I did not like. Me and my boyfriend looked at each other, burst out laughing and frantically googled for another hotel nearby as we could not stay in an environment that smelled awful and made us both feel very uncomfortable. Especially for 2 nights as that is what I originally booked. We ended up booking a Holiday Inn down the road for only £50 more (should have booked this initially). When we went out to find the lady and let her know we were not staying, she was nowhere to be seen. Because we had plans that evening, we needed to get a move on so left (after 15-20 minutes of arriving) and let the owner know with a polite, yet truthful message. We then contacted Laterooms to ensure no charge would be made to myself as we had literally stepped into the room and left again. The owner decided that she would still charge me for both nights and made that decision based on the fact that she told me about the room confusion. It was not the room confusion that made us leave. It was the condition of the room. It was disgusting and made my skin crawl. I am a very clean, tidy person and care very much about feeling comfortable, which this B&B definitely was not. She took the money for both nights from my account through her own bias. It’s clear that she cannot see the state of the rooms based on other accurate reviews. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

We only stayed for one night, but found that though the room was basic, it had everything you would need -hairdryer, tea and coffee provided, shower gel etc. The beds had nice cotton linen and were really comfortable.||The breakfast was delicious, with egg, bacon, sausage and beans, toast and home made jam.|| The owners were friendly and helpful, even finding and posting on the chargers we left behind. PS the horses were so beautiful, and you could see them from the bedroom door.

This is a small equestrian site offering a variety of rooms , we stayed in a double room overlooking the ménage .|Firstly , it’s rural so make sure to know were it is , it’s easy to miss the entrance .|Once in there should be no problem parking .|It’s a family run business. So no formal reception , so the owner might be feeding the horses etc, so you might have to wait a short while . The small dog will keep you company , she may yap but is very friendly .|The site is nice but it is equestrian so you might see straw , horse poo etc but that’s it’s charm .|It’s is dog friendly , but remember it’s not a kennels . Keep your dog controlled and do not go out leaving it in the room all day , our dog is being young and is being crate trained and the owner allowed us to take him in the ménage once the horses had gone in overnight for exercise , nice touch .|Rooms are basic but clean and tidy , there is wi fi but this is rural so can be patchy , that’s rural UK .|This is not a city centre , bland , corporate hotel . That’s why you should try it , it’s different . If you have a dog with you as well that great .|Breakfast was good and well worth the money .|

We stayed here one night when visiting Silverstone. It was cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. The room was tired and in need of some attention. Shower was rusty so much so that when I turned the water on it sprayed from a crack and the shower head fell off on my head. Our bed was duct taped together which really didn’t look good. The lady was very nice but I wouldn’t stay here again.

We booked this at the last minute, needing to stay in the area for just one night while visiting a friend nearby. It was comfortable and pleasant. There was fresh milk in the fridge to make tea. Gail was very hostpitable, and it was her birthday. We did not have breakfast as we had been invited by our friend.

Very different to the major chain hotels I normally stay in whilst doing my coaching/training work throughout the UK.

I actually stayed inside the main house and was made to feel very welcome by the owner.

Very quiet and comfortable nights sleep I would highly recommend it.

I would certainly stay there again if I ever have to work in the area in future.

A late booking with work. Woah, what an idyllic little place. Proper countrified and the grounds are beautiful.||||The rooms are quaint, comfortable and cosy and the host is great, every time I asked a question she responded quickly and was really helpful pointing out the local amenities.||||The little resident dog is adorable and really friendly, the place is clean and tidy and the horses provide something out of the norm.||||I think this will become my 'go to' place when I'm away for work because simply put, it's a lovely place and brilliant value for money.
