Stayed here for two nights in September 2024 as our friends were getting married locally. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately our room overlooked the car park so if you’re looking for a scenic getaway make sure to specifically ask for a room overlooking the racecourse!|The hotel itself is spacious, bright and clean though the carpets looked a little dated with wild 70s style funky designs! But our room had everything we needed and the bed was large and comfortable. |Room service menu was a little limited but food was good. |Breakfasts were great with wide range of choice including full breakfasts and continental buffet. |We used the swimming pool on both days and enjoyed use of the steam room and sauna which was lovely and never very busy so at one point we had the place to ourselves!|Overall our stay was very pleasant and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others looking for a place to stay in the area.

We decided to select this hotel for our annual mini xmas break.It was a dinner package for 3 adults. The staff on day I (fri 27/12) was exceptionally friendly and the restaurant atmosphere was great. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the sat 28/12. The lady (with the bun on her head) at the restaurant and the man (i presume they were senior people) were indifferent. No greeting or acknowledgment. We just ate the food served. The contrast was wide. I feel the hotel needs to train its staff to treat every family same and not have any preferences. Learn from the staff who served dinner on the 27/12 !!

The hotel rooms were very clean and with good amenities. The staff is the friendliest I have seen at a hotel reception. I happened to be around for Halloween and they have made an effort to decorate the place and had rich and tasty brownies to go with the coffees! I had to go back for more (I split my coffee and drove back a good 5 minutes to get a top-up on coffee and brownies! but that's a different story).||Thank you for making me feel at home! 🙂

Very nice surroundings and a lovely outlook over the race course. Parking is easy and plentiful. Had lunch and drinks. Our waitress, Monique was fantastic. Very attentive and provided super service. She went above and beyond what would be generally expected. Thank you!

Great place to stay! Second time visiting and was awesome. Beautiful grounds, close walk to nearby pubs, eateries, and the train station. The breakfast was great and all the workers were great. Only downside is the air in the rooms never got very cold but the window opens. Will stay again.

We two families visited this beautiful hotel last Saturday (12/10). Location is beautiful, immaculate rooms and lovely food too. ||But from the point of entrance none of the staff welcomed nor treated with respect. Either they have not seen any ‘brown’ people before nor have properly trained to treat them equally. From the point of receptionist they seemed forgot to smile😕. Unfortunately that was only for us. Then when we about to enter sauna/pool again reception staff commanded us to enter us our records. It was not request but a command. ||Luckily there was a one a very friendly staff member we met at the breakfast area on the following day . His name was Calixte Chery and he made all our kids smile ❤️despite all drama happened yesterday . Funniest thing was, when Calixte throw few jokes in my kids the tall lady staff ( guess she was a waitress) who stand next to him looked at that in disguise😡. She might have forgot that we are hotel guest. ||||Rooms are clean, spacious as it shown in pictures. We also enjoyed the breakfast spread very much. But the staff were the worst staff team I ever met.

We've stayed here two Christmas's in a row now, decently priced, clean and the foods okay. Also had a swimming pool and sauna area. Restaurant and bar areas are fairly priced. Most likely be back next year

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Our flight has been canceled an we were given a room in the middle of the night! What a service! Many many thanks! Rooms great, breakfast great. Highly recommended!
