We stayed for 3 nights and this was the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful area. The room was comfortable and well equipped with lots of nice touches. Plenty of tea and coffee, Welsh cakes on arrival were a nice surprise and the fridge was a great feature which made it easy to store our packed lunch materials and the thoughtfully provided fresh milk. Super choices for breakfast, ranging from fresh fruit yoghurt and cereal to smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or a traditional cooked breakfast. Loved the eco friendly toiletries. Sheila was the perfect hostess with lots of info about walks etc. Plenty of good eating places a few minutes drive away. The only thing missing was a shower but I can see that it would have been difficult to site this in the bathroom without giving up the magnificent bath! Highly recommended.

Credit goes to my girlfriend for finding this hidden gem. If you want a top quality B&B in a beautiful peaceful setting then look no further. |Sheila and Roger are fantastic hosts and like many other reviews they could no do enough for you. The room was just like in the photos, clean and tidy with top quality fixtures and fittings. Beautiful oak floors and doors are throughout. The room is very well stocked and a lot of thought has gone in to making sure you have everything you need. There are lots of choices of tea and coffee and fresh milk is also provided in the fridge. The Welsh cakes are some of the best I have tasted.||The location was lovely, no traffic or aircraft noise just wildlife and at night there is no light pollution........ absolutely sublime.||The breakfast was also lovely, good quality and expertly cooked.||We only stayed the one night but will definitely be returning for a longer stay for further exploring.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here on the 1st September as we were attending a wedding at Walcott Hall. Sheila managed to get our room ready early for us which was great! It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could ever need. Delicious breakfast included. Would definitely recommend. Lovely hosts.

Great B&B in a lovely quiet location. This area is beautiful and has a large selection of walks locally. It was very clean and breakfast was excellent. An easy drive to Craven Arms and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, which we recomend visiting too. We ate at the Hunded House just a few miles away and the food was excellent, the Fish dishes on the specials board were particularly good.

Lovely location, perfect for walkers and exploring the area. Very quiet, lots of parking. Room very comfortable, huge choice of drinks, home made welsh cakes, fresh flowers, fresh milk. Large bathroom, big bath, very clean. Very comfortable bed. Large choice for breakfast, buffet and cooked breakfast. Sheila is a very welcoming host and very knowledgeable. Would not hesitate in recommending to anyone.

Been meaning to visit the Shropshire Hills for ages. Not disappointed - a stunning area. Did some lovely walks in the hills including a 13 miler from the door of the cottage picking up the Wart Hill Wander route. Comfortable room, delicious and generous breakfast and Sheila’s a lovely hostess. Thank you!

I have to travel for my MSc and this is undoubtedly the most peaceful, clean and comfortable place I have stayed. Christine is lovely, she even offered to carry my bags (which I wouldn’t let her do). The room is the most well-stocked I have visited and the attention to detail is impeccable. I will definitely be back!
