Went to an afternoon tea here for my friend's 60th birthday. There were 16 of us.
Food was plentiful and delicious, they dealt with several different dietary needs easily and couldn't be more friendly. Very reasonably priced. Had a great time.

Carriages offers the ultimate Bottomless Bubbles experience! Incredible value for money, with attentive waiters who kept our glasses topped up without us even needing to ask. The food was delicious and plentiful—we could barely make a dent in it while we were there! Thankfully, the staff were more than happy to provide takeaway containers so nothing went to waste. We had a wonderful afternoon enjoying their beautiful outdoor space. The hotel itself is elegant and stylish, and the staff were absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend!

- the two and only good thing about the place are: the receptionist Hashim who was doing the job of 4 people on a weekend morning with a smile on his face all the time despite the mayhem and shortage of staff. And the cleanliness, the room though dated but was clean. So was the overall hotel. However ...||- room is tiny which is fine if you just need a bed for the night, however, the bed is NOT pushed all the way to the back. Yes . This is the first bed I've ever seen with a gap between your head and the wall. Which is weird to say the least and extremely uncomfortable at worst. Had to stuff the second pillow in between to make a somewhat normal feeling.||- bed itself isn't that comfortable either and the duvet was strapped in, for lack of a better word, rather tightly and I had to untie it and free the duvet. Another unusual practice I've never seen before.||- every now and then an airplane lands at the nearby hotel, the noise is shattering tbh.||- whilst there is a kettle and teas and coffees (one cup) in the room, there is no spoon to stir with and the tray needs a clean. Just off-putting.||- shower leaks.||- the breakfast is absolute carnage. There seems to be one employee manning reception and being the waiter. You can imagine what kind of mayhem that'd produce. The guy was literally running between tables and reception. Doing his best, but errors are ought to happen in this situation. The waiter/employee just suggested full English, while in a hurry, so I just said yes. There was a small station with milk, tea, coffee, juices and some cereal and break.. the milk ran out... With no one to help and few frustrated people, someone opened the kitchen door and waved the empty jug at one of the chefs. Felt like a sketch in a not-so-funny comedy film. ||- while you're given the WiFi password printed on the sleeve of the room key, my room didn't have any WiFi coverage..at all. Zero.||- the hallways seem to be designed to amplify voices of people speaking outside of your room. Just saying.|

Room very small with hard uncomfortable bed. Towels are well used with holes in. Bed never got changed for 4 days. Female receptionist rude and unhelpful.House keeping team rude. If you do not park within the white lines in the carpark there is a £50 fine! Not friendly. Pizza's were tasty. Overall could not recommend. Go elsewhere. Would never return.

On arrival there was a sign saying park between the white lines or pay a £50 fine. Firstly not a great welcome to the hotel and secondly there were no white lines. A very ambiguous message. |On arrival to the room we noticed every time you used the bathroom sink, water leaked onto the floor around the pedal stool. When I used the wc the toilet roll holder span towards the ground, wetting the toilet paper as it fell onto the floor. The bidet handle broke off as soon as I lightly touched it. I was told it didn't work anyway. Then the main lights in the room were connected to the bathroom lights so every time you wanted to use the bathroom , you had to walk over to turn everything on, waking up my partner being dazzled by bright lights. The side lights were connected to the main lights too, so no dappled light whilst winding down for the evening. Then I slid the net curtain to one side in the morning to let in more natural light as the lights in the room couldn't be controlled and were too bright. The net rod fell off. I discovered it had been broken at one end and was a temporary fix. Tea making facilities disappointing as the tea bags had stains on them so I didn't want to touch them. I did ask for fruit teas but all they had was peppermint tea. |We did speak to reception and she said the electrician must have just connected all the lights on and circit... trying to cut corners just doesn't pay. It's a shame because it's a lovely hotel, staff helpful and friendly and the cooked breakfast was good too. Bed was a king size and very comfortable so 10/10 where credit is due.|Reception lady very helpful when we asked for ice and glasses for the room. |We wouldn't stay again though. |I hope you are able to address these issues so people will keep coming back.

Very good hotel, they got me a room past midnight after an easyJet flight cancelled. Rate was good and the room as well (very warm tough). Thanks a lot.
Location 30 Min walk from Luton station, or by bus.

A convenient hotel for the airport.
The room was lovely and comfortable.
We had an evening meal which was absolutely fantastic, such great food. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
A note of caution, confirm the taxi fare before you leave, I think we paid too much, but there was no point in arguing when we arrived at the airport. The hotel did arrange the taxi but was not responsible for the price.

Been along time since I have been here. Omg this is the most beautiful, clean place. Fantastic staff, cannot do enough to make your dining experience fabulous, so happy, chatty and make you feel part of the family.
Steak was divine, pasta chicken & mushroom was melt in the mouth and the cheese garlic bread, nicely done, no soggy bottom, crisp to bite and the cheese was lush.
No pudding required as full.
Defo be back and stay a night or 2, free breakfasts too.

Peeps you must try this place if flying from Luton, visiting family, visiting hospital you must try this place
