My girlfriend and I stayed at the Little Keasts bed and breakfast over the Easter Weekend 2010 (the "Date of Stay" option above didn't go back that far). I am new to Trip Advisor otherwise I would have left a review sooner.||We got there on the afternoon of Good Friday after driving down from Birmingham and was greeted by Karen who made us feel really welcome, asked when we would like breakfast the next day and then showed us to our rooms. The room itself was gorgeous with everything you could need. We were staying in the larger of the two rooms which came with a giant (I could lie on it sideways and only just touch the edges) four poster bed with a memory foam matress, which was unbelievably comfortable. When we got settled we asked where was the best place for a meal and drink and they gave us a few options to try, all of which we tried over the weekend and weren't disappointed by any of them!||After an amazing night's sleep we got up and had our breakfast. Everything you could imagine is there cereal, toast, spreads, tea/coffee/OJ etc but the star of the show was the cooked breakfast. The bacon and sausage, which are made from their own reared pork, tasted amazing and really set us up for the day. This was the same for the three days we were there.||Karen and John were very hospitable and were more than happy to sit up for a drink and a chat with us at the end of the day in the bar room, with John behind the bar serving the Rum & Pep and other drinks. On the second night we were up until at least 1am, got very merry, went to bed and was still served breakfast on time the next morning by Karen. ||We were also allowed to have a look around the small holding part to see the pigs, chickens and geese on the property so we got to see a very friendly Seth (who was more interested in my girlfriend than me) and a goose called Gordon (I think) who was a bit shouty and territorial as it was laying season and he was guarding his ladies, otherwise Karen and John told us he was usually a lot friendlier.||We both loved every minute of our stay there and couldn't ask for nicer, more welcoming hosts than Karen and John. We even got a Christmas card from them later in the year which I thought was a lovely gesture. Little Keasts is highly recommended.
