Small car park big enough for 2 cars there's a back road you can park on.
But there was a confusion on the room booked but got there in the end.
Room up a flight of stairs
All information is given when in the room.
Room of good size has a sloping roof as an attic room.
Bathroom is a good size
The bed was comfy enough, the only thing was the duvet wasn't long enough so my feet stuck out. I'm only 5'11!
Shower was very hot, took some twisting to get any cold though.
The bath has a big step up to get in, there's no bath mat or floor mat so it gets quite slippery when wet!!
Wifi excellent
Breakfast included but it's cereal and toast and self service.
Location is in a small village with a small shop/ garage and a pub all within a short walk.
But some lovely walks close by.

Such a lovely place, the host Tom was so welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. Lovely rooms, very comfy and the facilities available are awesome. Definitely would stay here again. The breakfast room is great for grabbing a quick continental or you can have a cooked breakfast for a bit extra. We didn’t use the hot tub unfortunately as we didn’t have time. But so well equipped, and just a lovely place. See you soon! Ian and Kevin.

I personally didn't stay at the lodge (reluctantly). But I booked the house for my wife and her bridal party.

The house was clean, the hosts were friendly and helpful and even went out of their way to decorate which they didn't have to do!

They even allowed the bridal party to have a late checkout and I'd love to thank you both for helping make our big day work!

A very quaint little Bed and Breakfast, great for a budget one night place to stay, breakfast was really good and hosts were very friendly and accommodating (considering that we checked in late). Bathroom was good, place was extremely tidy and the kitchen was very modern and up to date. Ample selection of cereals with breakfast if full English is not your speed. Good Wi-fi in rooms, and solid TV.

This is an excellent B&B with fabulous hosts. The accommodation is of a very high standard throughout with en-suite in every bedroom and my bed was very comfortable. There is the use of a lovely lounge and fully kitted our Kitchen and the jewel is the hot tub! There is a very nice large patio area out the back with an undercover seating area and a fully enclosed hot tub which is available for use. Tom and Karen are both so lovely and helpful and Tom cooks a wicked full breakfast 🙂 Plenty of parking - no hesitation in recommending this great find!

We were warmly welcomed by Tom who made sure we liked our room. He doesn't live on site so asked what time we would like breakfast & took our order in advance. He then left us to put our feet up & relax in the homely sitting room. We had supper in the local pub (Black Horse), slept really well & served a delicious breakfast in the communal dining room with another couple. We were going to a wedding so Tom left after breakfast & said we could stay until we were ready & post the keys through the letterbox. Another plus was lovely his & hers bathrobes provided. The only downside was that the shower cubicle was quite small & water pressure fairly low but plenty of hot water. We would definitely stay there again.

Only stayed one night but would have loved longer, Tom was a very pleasant and attentive host. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything you could need, the breakfast was amazing and very good value all round. We will definitely revisit and stay longer so we can make use of the hot tub.

We went for this accommodation as it had a Jacuzzi but we were very surprised that the water was green. Tom the owner (a very nice gentleman) said that this was 'no concern' and he would happily clean it for us but it would take sometime and may not be ready for the next day as it takes a long time to heat. There were two other gentlemen using the accommodation, this wasn't the owners fault but we found them using the TV room which was right next to our room and leaving ALL the lights and TV on. The sink in the bathroom had a 'waterfall' type of tap which you had to get it just about right so not to spray yourself with water. The room was cold and took along time to heat. The TV was good but lost its signal on the majority of channels. The bed was very nice and decour too!
