I stayed at this wonderful B&B with my dog. We were made very welcome by Virginia. The weather was perfect so we got to see stunning sunsets from the terrace.
Everything was perfect, the suite is large and has lots of light and the views are amazing!
The bed is very comfortable and I slept really well. Absolutely nothing to fault.
The breakfasts were 5 star. Homemade sourdough, veggies fresh from the garden. Local seasonal fruit and local yoghurt. They even got me avocado even though it wasn’t on the menu. I had to try Virginia’s homemade strawberry jam and it’s the best ever! Proper tea with tea leaves.
It is up a hill but we didn’t mind the climb. It’s an easy walk to the local beaches and The Pig on the Beach hotel is lovely.
Thank you for looking after us and we hope to return.

We spent 4 nights at Littlecroft and were not disappointed. Fabulous location where we could relax after our son’s wedding. We had a very warm welcome from Virgina who cooked most delicious breakfasts and suggested many walks and places for us to visit. |We had some fabulous pub meals at The Fox Inn at Corfe, Black Swan at Swanage and The Three Horseshoes at Burton Bradstock. Look forward to a return visit.

A perfect retreat. The view from our room was amazing and the wide choice of delicious breakfasts was prepared from the highest quality ingredients. We couldn’t have been made more welcome or felt more comfortable. We hope to be back very soon.

Just returned from a wonderful few days at Littlecroft, an ideal place for exploring the Isle of Purbeck and surrounding area. What a lovely location, wonderful views, a large room/suite, with a very comfortable bed, and a delicious breakfast with local produce and homemade jams and marmalade. Virginia and Andy are very welcoming and friendly hosts who are happy to suggest places to visit, walks or local restaurants. We hope to come back again next year

This is a very friendly helpful B&B. It has lovely rooms, comfortable beds and fabulous views. Our hosts were very considerate and accommodating to us and my disabled mother. The breakfast was the best I have experienced at any b&b I have stayed at. The gluten free freshly made bread was delicious

This was our second stay at Littlecroft. The first - a year ago - was so good that we felt compelled to return. We were right to do so. Perched on Ballard Down with panoramic views of sea and hills and spectacular sunsets, there can be nowhere better to be in England.

Virginia and Andy are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are far better than most many-starred hotels, everything is immaculately clean, the bed is extremely comfortable and everything you could possibly need is provided.

You can walk or cycle from the door straight into magnificent countryside. We took our bikes on the train from Cambridge so can confirm you don't need a car at all. There are many miles of beautiful sandy beaches, including the nudist beach (so no problem if you forget to pack your swimmers!).

The pub in Studland serves good food and local beer; the restaurant at the Pig is a rare treat. There are plenty of places to eat and drink locally and the village shop has just about everything you could need.

If you don't know where to go for your next break, go to Littlecroft. Whatever the weather you will have a great time.

I had a wonderful stay at Littlecroft last week. So much so, I extended my stay while I was there!
I was lucky with the weather - blue skies and sunshine every day.
Virginia and Andy were such kind and thoughtful hosts. Very friendly and keen to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible.
The accommodation was perfect. Very cosy and stylish, clean and tidy, a lovely comfy bed and had everything I needed.
The views were stunning over the valley, with gorgeous sunsets and starry night skys.
I’d gone for rest and recuperation and appreciated the peacefulness and quietness and nurturing environment.
Breakfasts were served at the little table in the room and Virginia was flexible on timings which I appreciated.
The food was always delicious, much of it farm sourced and fresh which I really enjoyed.
I took my dog and they made him very welcome which was sweet.
We enjoyed many beach walks at Studland Bay, Swanage Bay and the coastal path to Old Harry Rocks. A trip to Arne RSPB reserve and Corfe Castle and the pretty woodland walk around the castle. There are so many delightful options in the area!
All in all it was a perfect mini break and I can thoroughly recommend staying here. I shall be returning!
