They gave us the wrong dessert and they didn’t set anything up. The left without talking to us about the food. Eating a watery curry without rice on a plate was almost impossible so most people did not even try. Worst of all the food heaters caught the paper table clothes on fire and one of our wedding guests sustained seriously burns trying to put the fire out. A burned table didn’t look good, but a small detail compared to a second degree burn. Still considering legal action against this company.

L&M Catering made the most fantastic pile of Brownies wedding cake for my daughter's wedding! Absolutely wonderful, and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he even came up with the idea of little lego bride and groom! Also this year I ordered brownie and cookie boxes to be sent out to all my family for Easter . Very much appreciated , well packaged and arrived on time. Next booking will be for a private chef. Highly recommend this company

Absolutely appalling level of professionalism.

We hired Liam to cater a series of events for our corporate client with an Alice and Wonderland theme to the food.

He delivered the first two events well and was happy to take feedback and amend certain elements (eg different foods mixing in a lunchbox).

Then came our biggest event of the tour at the clients’ head office and unfortunately Liam chose our most high profile one to drop the ball on quite a few of the same elements. Client feedback was ‘they felt some of the food had been shop-bought’ which at the price tag we were paying, simply wasn’t acceptable.

Off the back of this, the client ordered us to find another caterer and change the menu.
We fed this back to Liam and he was upset, not taking the feedback very well and emailing us reams of excuses.
He clearly want to blame us and not the client for not being happy with his product.

Liam was particularly upset given that he had booked accommodate for the next event and blocked his calendar.
As a goodwill gesture we agreed to pay him for the next two events, totalling around £5k.
He finally begrudgingly agreed to pay us £1k back out what we’d already paid him and agreed to a date.

Weeks have now passed and he’s still refusing to pay.

Liam is deeply unprofessional, bitter, doesn’t take feedback very well and seems to not mind burning bridges. I suspect that he’d essentially already spent the money we’d paid up front.

Our advice to anyone hiring him is pay as little up front as possible and pay in smaller instalments because one sight of a below par delivery and subsequent negative feedback and he’ll break his word and hold onto your money.

We hired Liam to cook us Sunday lunch and it was superb, the food was lovely and the lobster Mac & cheese was yummy. Liam was very professional and left my kitchen immaculate when he left. I would definitely recommend L&M Catering.

On the day, everything went really well and the food was delicious. All our guests were delighted with the quality and presentation of the meal, Would 100% recommend !
