Loadbrook cottage is in a great scenic location a few miles west Sheffield. There is lots nice scenery to within 15 miles to the west. Botanical gardens is only few miles into Sheffield.Excellent host. Nice and quiet. Great cooked breakfast. Dog friendly too, our dog had a great time as well.

Stayed here for two nights with our dog whilst visiting relatives in Sheffield. A lovely properly dog friendly place to stay. Alison is an attentive but relaxed host who makes you feel right at home. Our room was spacious and comfy (with very nice complimentary biccies!) but most of all we loved the genuine dog-friendliness and welcoming atmosphere. We got to meet the resident labradors, as well as the family's horses, and our dog Callie had plenty of great outside space (although due to the time of year and storms it was a bit too wet to explore properly!) A very pleasant stay.

Thank you Alison & Rob for an amazing 4 night stay at Loadbrook Cottages B&B. The views were stunning all around us. Alison was the perfect host. Could find no fault whatsoever. It was just perfect for us. Definitely would recommend.

Everything about our stay was superb. As other reviewers have pointed out Alison was extremely welcoming and the accommodation was very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast too, the fresh fruits selection and scrambled eggs were delicious. Best of all was the amazing setting deep in the Yorkshire countryside - I could have sat and watched the view from the windows for hours. I am sure we will return.

After many years, still a wonderful place to stay. Great location on the edge of the Peak District. Well placed for both city and country pursuits. Dog friendly. Horse friendly and people friendly. Alison creates a home from home environment providing comfortable rooms and breakfast of the highest quality. Overall Ladbrooke gets 5 stars from us.

Lovely cottage with amazing views. Just stayed here from Monday to Friday. Really enjoyed the facilities and no faults. Sauna and hot tub facilities on point. The owner of the property, Julia, was a friendly host and gave us a tour of her own property. Would come again.

We wish there were more stars we could have awarded! The accommodation was spacious but homely and so tastefully presented throughout. Alison is simply a superb host and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. So many wonderful personal extras to suit our vegetarian requirements too!||We particularly enjoyed the setting, the tranquility plus the views from our window of the gardens to the one side and the handsome horses to the other.||We highly recommend staying here, such excellent value for money - put simply ‘there’s nothing like it’!!

B&B at Loadbrook was superb. The accomodation is spacious, comfortable and attractive. I had the continental breakfast in my room which was delicious and generous. The views and setting are beautiful. Stunning walks on the doorstep, Sheffield city centre 20 minutes although you would never know it, and Chatsworth 30 minutes. Friendly, attentive hosts.
