We had the pleasure of staying at Long Crendon Manor last night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the manor's rich history and timeless charm. Every single corner of this stunning property is steeped in history, almost like walking through a living museum.

Our room was simply fantastic—tastefully decorated, comfortable, and with an air of understated luxury. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, from the plush bedding to the period features that made us feel like we had stepped back in time.

Breakfast the next morning was a delight. The quality of the food was exceptional, with a range of delicious options that were both hearty and beautifully presented. It was the perfect start to our day.

Long Crendon Manor is more than just a place to stay—it's an experience. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a unique and luxurious escape, this manor will not disappoint. We can't wait to return

We had a wonderful four night stay in this absolutely beautiful, completely authentic and unspoiled Manor House set in stunning gardens. This is still a family home to Tim & Sue, our hosts, who simply could not have done more to be welcoming to us. The bedrooms are charming, and home cooked breakfasts are just wonderful. The two soppy & gentle resident St Bernards were the high point of the trip for our son. Within a few minutes walk are a variety of lovely pubs and restaurants in the chocolate-box village of Long Crendon. Just a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back.

If I could give more than 5 start I would, Tim and Sue were fantastic hosts, the two dogs were great as well. The house was marvelous, parts built 1187, others built in the 14 and 15 centuries. This house is featured in the Midsummer Murders TV series, fantastic location convenient to the Cotswolds' and all its amenities. We spent 9 nights with Tim and Sue, the breakfasts were wonderful each morning. We will defiantly return some day, great house and location, Thanks we enjoyed our visit.

This is a private home that takes paying guests, and there is apparently no staff to help. Registration is strictly to a specific check in time, and the grounds are not set up for visitors other than a small space immediately outside the back door. A historic and charming looking old house located out in the country.

My partner booked a room, the woman took all our details, but then failed to confirm the booking in any format. We tried to contact them for confirmation several times by email and phone. We left messages too, but we were ignored.
It just doesn't make sense.
They took a booking, failed to confirm it, then they ignore emails and telephone calls.
What sort of customer service is that
Glad we found out that their service is poor before we actually stayed there.
We'll now book somewhere else where they care about their business and customers.
I recommend you don't book this place because the service is rubbish.

A lovely stay in a unique B&B; the Manor house was beautiful, as were the grounds and village (the friendly vicar struck a conversation with us during our stroll before checking in and, upon hearing where we were staying, confirmed we'd made a very good choice, which boded well). Tim, the host, was friendly, giving a tour of the rooms and showing us the garden on check-in, and he provided a great breakfast both days, in a stunning room (lovely local apple juice). It was nice to say hello to Marmaduke, one of the St Bernards, on arrival. We stayed in the Family room; the rooms were spacious, clean (noted a few out of reach cobwebs which didn't bother any of us, rather added to the centuries old feel of the Manor), beautifully furnished and the beds comfortable. Nice to see the geese outside too. There is a little fridge in the room, as well as teacups, fresh milk, tea and coffee, plus shortbread, which was appreciated. We all enjoyed staying somewhere old, beautifully decorated, and full of history and having a wonder in the garden. Plenty of space to park, perfect base for our trips to Bletchley Park and Blenheim Palace. Tim also provided a taxi number, which we used for a great meal out at The Black Horse in Thame (highly recommended, only a 5-minute drive). Recommended place to stay.

Long Crendon Manor is incredible! We stayed just for the night after our wedding, and wished we had stayed for longer. We have never slept so well, or had such a fantastic breakfast, with home-sourced meats and granola. Tim, the owner, was highly personable and helpful; he and his gorgeous dogs made us feel completely welcome. We were very grateful to be allowed to explore the grounds during check in and to have some extra photos taken by our wedding photographer.
