Bright fresh and modern downstairs. My single room was in fact a small double with a big modern bathroom. Well furnished and comfortable. |Dinner was good if not outstanding. Overall, the price was very good. |The staff were superb. Friendly, efficient and they went to a huge effort to find a pair of binoculars I thought I’d left behind.

Lovely place to stay, has an excellent bar and restaurant. The food was fantastic both for evening meal and breakfast!|Very clean and spacious bathroom, only downside was I found the room was a bit on the small side, very warm. It was facing the road so opening the window to let in cool air in the night was not an option due to road noise.

Lovely lunch time meal here, had a small salad. It was all fresh and delicious. Service was great with friendly staff. Didn't stay over. Also had a nice walk along the canal from the hotel.

The staff are caring, polite and professional. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a mini fridge (silent), containing water and fresh milk (a rare bonus). The bathroom was spotlessly clean with an excellent walk-in shower. The staff had left the curtains closed to keep the room cool on a day when the outside temperature was flirting with 30oC.

the experience in the hotel is great, but the rooms really need to be updated. I am typing this on my laptop battery as a alot of the sockets are round pin (which would easily take a laptop. this means i am linited to two electircal sockets to recharge my phone and watch, boil the kettle for a tea etc. the sockets are too far away from the table where I can use my laptop. this is the first place on my trip where I have been limited to this. I thought round sockets died about twenty years ago

The room and food were excellent and the service was spot on. My wife said the pillows were so soft and I think she has made a note to buy some for our house. The Marina and the canal was a lovely walk and then we relaxed with a glass or two of red wine before our meal n the evening. The meal was exceptional.

Thank you Longlands for our stay. The cottage was warm, comfortable, clean and could not fault it. We brought our Border Collie with us and our stay was just easy. Good walks and bed provided for her. Perfect. The restaurant service was excellent and so were the breakfasts!

Great weekend stay to celebrate our daughter’s 50th birthday! Lovely cottage with all amenities and very comfortable! Catered for the two dogs as well which was wonderful! Super meal in the restaurant in the evening! All perfect, thank you!
